ParticipantHi Thomas,
I’m glad you found a solution. My next guess was that it may have been server related, and you seemed to have taken care of that.
Thank you for your patience. If there’s anything else that we can help you with, please don’t hesitate to ask.

ParticipantHi again,
Matt it sounds like you make have gotten it sorted. If not, could you start a separate topic in the forum? It may be a different problem than Jen’s.
And Jen, did you have any luck? Just wondering how it turned out for you.

ParticipantHi meghanbrasuell,
I’d love to help you with your CSS problem, but I’ll be able to do a better job of that (or someone on the team) if you start your own thread to address your specific issue. It’s a little hard to keep the conversation straight with two topics in one place.
Just head back to https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/events-calendar-pro/ and hit the big blue button in the upper right corner to get your topic started. It would also be helpful if you could include the code you tried adding and which file you tried adding it to. It’s best to use a service such as http://pastie.org/ to include the code as our forums don’t handle it the best.
That’ll make it easy for you to get the quickest, best help possible. But don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions. We’re here to help!

ParticipantHi again schulzmischke,
I think I found something to try. There are two areas where Facebook usernames/IDs can be added:
Events > Import: Facebook
This area is intended to import single events. A one-time, bring-it-over from Facebook import.Events > Settings > Facebook
This area is intended to import from Facebook Pages and to keep bringing in information on an ongoing basis. Putting single events here will cause problems. You seem to have several usernames/IDs entered in the Events > Settings > Facebook area. Can you verify that these are all for Pages and not individual events. If they are for individual events, can you move those over to the Events > Import: Facebook area?
Give that a try and see if that makes a difference. We were able to get the imports to work in test environments, so that’s about as much as I can offer. But please let me know how it goes!

ParticipantHi izamar,
It’s my understanding that you’re referring to our upcoming Filter Bar plugin that’s currently in beta (https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-events-filter-bar/). Is that right?
If so, this will be a premium (paid) add-on when it is released. It will work with either The Events Calendar (free) or Events Calendar PRO (premium) plugin.
Did I answer your question?

ParticipantHello izamar,
Absolutely the Eventbrite add-on works with our free The Events Calendar plugin. You do not need to purchase Events Calendar PRO to take advantage of it.
If you have any additional questions, please ask!

ParticipantHi Dale,
The short answer is no. Our plugin(s) aren’t designed to do that, not even in a multisite environment. There are likely other plugins out there that would do this, but none come to mind.
Sorry we can be of more help. But maybe you’d consider suggesting this as a feature we could include in the future over at https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas.

September 12, 2013 at 3:50 pm in reply to: Another guy Confused between Event Pro and Community Calendar #65689Julie Kuehl
ParticipantHi Ben,
Sorry it isn’t clear how the Events Calendar PRO plugin and the Community Events add-on differ.
First off, Community Events will work with either the free The Events Calendar plugin or the premium Events Calendar PRO plugin. Just wanted to make sure that you understood that you are not required to install both.
The Events Calendar plugin (free) gives you the basic calendar functions that you would expect. A monthly grid, upcoming events, and single event information.
Events Calendar PRO (premium) gives you some additional calendar functions such as recurring events, map view, searching events in a location, week view, photo view, venue view, single day view, a calendar widget… I can go on, but you can find the complete list over at https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
What the Community Events add-on brings is the ability for site users (not just site admins) to add events to the calendar from the front end. And of course the necessary settings to manage that kind of environment. You’ll have to have either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO installed to take advantage of the Community Events add-on.
Does that help clear it up?

ParticipantHi Lyz,
If I understand your question correctly, the answer is yes! When you set up your recurring event, say your Wednesday class for three weeks in a row, you have the ability to create one ticket for that event which covers all classes. Folks need purchase just one ticket to cover all the classes for that event.
Does that make sense? Is there anything else I can help you with?

ParticipantHi fredlacroix,
This question is going to be better served in our The Events Calendar PRO forum. I’m going to move you over there so they can help you.

September 11, 2013 at 4:58 pm in reply to: Link event directly to another page (not permalink w/ slug)? #65563Julie Kuehl
ParticipantHi K Byrnes,
That should be possible with either plugin, but it does require some customization to do it. You can find some information in our Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/ and in our documentation (http://docs.tri.be/) if you’d like to give it a try.
With the free plugin if you’re looking for additional help, your best bet will be out on the wordpress.org forum (http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar) as the support forums here are restricted to the PRO version. Ask around, there’s a good chance you’ll find someone who’s already done it.
If you have anything else I can help you with here, please ask!

September 11, 2013 at 4:52 pm in reply to: multisite licensing and functionality for Event Calendar Pro #65562Julie Kuehl
ParticipantHello ets techsupport,
Regarding the licensing of Events Calendar PRO for your multisite install, while the developer license is good for 10 sites, the truth is that the plugin will work on as many sites as you install it on. You just won’t get automatic updates on any but the first 10.
As far as issues go, are you seeing any issues? Is there something specific? And if there is, The Events Calendar PRO forum would probably be a better place to ask.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHello Paul,
Good question! In this case, the upgrade would reset your clock and will mark your license year from that date. So if you upgrade, you’ve essentially taken care of your renewal too!
If you have any additional questions, please just let us know.

ParticipantHello again schulzmischke,
I apologize for my confusion. Thank you for the clarification.
Perhaps admin access would be helpful. Could you send the information over in a private message? And I should ask, are your developing and production sites on the same server? If not, is there any difference between the two that you know of?
