the event calendar + qtranslate = conflict?

Hi,

I’m using the event calendar and qtranslate on my Website and I’m having this problem: when I’m in a secondary language and I browse through month, the plugin automatically switches back to my default language.

Try using the month nav: http://mmq.qc.ca/calendrier/?lang=en
Primary language: french
Secondary language: english

I edited the month.php file to add the $lang in the href:
$html = ‘« ‘. $text .’ ‘;
It doesnt work, the plugin still switch back to default language.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

Hi, fredlacroix. THanks for getting in touch about your issue with compatibility between TEC and qTranslate.

Unfortunately, this behavior is a documented conflict with qTranslate. We’re working towards addressing this, but for now, we don’t have a solution on our immediate roadmap.

Do you have an idea when this bug will be fixed?
My client is getting impatient about this… and I need to inform him if this will be updated soon or not.

I’m afraid that what Kelly said is true. While we are aware of the conflict, it’s not on our immediate roadmap. I wouldn’t get your, or your client’s, hopes up for a quick fix.
