ParticipantHey M,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I took a look at your site and saw that you do have a form available for Community Events available http://www.peopleofprint.com/events/community/add however the layout is looks like the head has been removed or isn’t getting pulled in on the template.
Have you tried following our Testing for Conflicts procedures, particularly switching back to a default theme to see if there is a conflict with something in the theme there?
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Valentina,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’ll try to get all your questions above answered here.
- You can view a calendar of just events within a specific category, for example this link http://wpshindig.com/events/category/wp-meetups/ shows just the events in the WP Meetups category
- We don’t have that built in, however you can easily use other widgets or custom code to show a sidebar of event categories. If you want to have the categories linked on the calendar page, you could use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/ which has that built in
- That isn’t available by default within the plugin. That would require a little bit of custom development
- That view looks like a default blog view for that theme rather than a calendar view. However, you could do a little customization to accomplish something like this.
- That is a view completely controlled by the theme. However, if you’re purchasing and using that theme you should be able to use it and any support related to that particular customization can be found with the theme provider.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

You can customize the RSVP form by following our Themer’s Guide and copying the src > views > tickets > rsvp.php file into your theme from the Event Tickets plugin.
From there, you can follow one of the tutorials that works for you to add the captcha to the form there.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Sunny,

The javascript which controls the tooltips is within the main tribe-events.js file. You’ll also need to make sure that it is being enqueued on your front-page as well.

You can add the options for selecting the WooCommerce products to associate with an event by using a plugin such as P2P or and Advanced Custom Fields relationship field.
Then, you could then follow our Themer’s Guide to copy the src > views > wootickets > tickets.php file into your theme. There, depending on the path you go and the output settings you select for the particular field (if using Advanced Custom Fields) you can add the new products to the ticket form following the same pattern that is laid out there for adding the tickets.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Riccardo,
Looking into this one further, it looks like our Knowledgebase article on using “tribe_get_events()” has been updated to provide some help for searching the events of a specific date range.
If you’re interested in using a shortcode feature, everything you would need to get the events of a specific range can be found in that article.

Thanks!

ParticipantHey Mike,
Thanks for providing a copy of your theme!
I activated the theme on my local install using the latest versions of our plugins and the recurrence featured worked as expected on the event submission form.
I looked through the theme settings to see if I could see something that would possibly activate something that may break that feature but after trying a few things I wasn’t able to recreate the issue.
I did notice that the theme does have a few add-ons available. Do you have any of those added and activated? If so, the source could be there since deactivating your theme would have most likely prevented those features from being applied through the plugin.
Thanks!

I believe something like this could be possible. The main questions would be the nature of the tickets.
Would these be the same tickets across all the events sharing the same stock? Or, are you looking for like a ticket template that gets added to the events every time you create event? Each of these would be their own product in WooCommerce but they’d almost be a duplicate for each event created?
Thanks!

If you’re looking to have the content display above all of your main event views (calendar, list, etc.) but not on the other views such as the single event view, you could add the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php file to get what you’re looking for:

ParticipantHey Steve,

As long as you’re using the plugin on one site within your multisite network, you should have no problem using the single license within the network. You’ll have no loss in functionality there.
You can modify the slug that is used for the events section of your website within the Events > Settings > General. There are two options there for setting the Events page as well as the single event slugs. Here is an example of those settings changed to have “upcoming-events” used instead of just “events” https://cloudup.com/clVH7g5Jv2d
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Jayson,
