ParticipantHello, I need the ability for users to post events … especially recurring events. I purchased Events Calendar Pro for that one feature. It was a bit disappointing to see that the field for Recurrence Rules is non-existent. I’ve read your forums and knowledgebase. After performing the troubleshooting steps the problem appears to be with my Theme as everything is fine with the Twenty Sixteen theme. The only error on the page seems to be related to jquery but I have know idea how to resolve it. Here is the error.
chosen.jquery.js?ver=0.9.5:788 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘length’ of undefined
Attached is an image of the Submit an Event page with the missing field.
Any help you can give is appreciated as the Theme author is not that helpful.
Thanks Mike

ParticipantHey Mike,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry to hear that there is a Javascript error in your theme which is causing a conflict here. I am limited in the amount of direct support I can provide for a theme conflict here but I am happy to take a look at the files and see if there is a quick solution that I can suggest in resolving this particular issue for you.
Would you mind attaching a zip of your theme in a private reply here?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh,
I sent the Theme to you Privately as requested. Just checking to see if you received it. I really need to find out if this plugin, Events Calendar Pro, can be made to work with my Theme. If it can’t then let me know how to apply for a refund.
Thanks,
Mike

ParticipantHey Mike,
Thanks for providing a copy of your theme!
I activated the theme on my local install using the latest versions of our plugins and the recurrence featured worked as expected on the event submission form.
I looked through the theme settings to see if I could see something that would possibly activate something that may break that feature but after trying a few things I wasn’t able to recreate the issue.
I did notice that the theme does have a few add-ons available. Do you have any of those added and activated? If so, the source could be there since deactivating your theme would have most likely prevented those features from being applied through the plugin.
Thanks!
