ParticipantHi folks,
I am creating an event management system and would like the ability for customers to select add-on products when on the events page.
I am thinking of creating an additional box in the edit event pages which users can select and link products already created in the WooCommerce portion of the website.
How would I add additional options to the admin visible edit events page?
Then I’m going to change the customer-view of the events page to include these add-on products.
How do I edit or hook into the customer visible events page?
If there is any easier way todo this, please let me know.
Kind regards,
JackAugust 1, 2016 at 4:44 pm #1146334Josh
ParticipantHey Jack,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
To clarify on this one, you would like the ability to add additional products that were created in WooCommerce and associated them with events? You would then like those products to show on the front event to be able to be added to the cart along with the tickets?
Are you wanting to associate the products with specific tickets (if you have multiple tickets on an event) or are you wanting them to be associated with the event in general?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Josh,
Yes to your first two questions.
Associate them with the event in general.
Thanks for helping me out,

ParticipantHey Jack,
Thanks for following up here!
You can add the options for selecting the WooCommerce products to associate with an event by using a plugin such as P2P or and Advanced Custom Fields relationship field.
Then, you could then follow our Themer’s Guide to copy the src > views > wootickets > tickets.php file into your theme. There, depending on the path you go and the output settings you select for the particular field (if using Advanced Custom Fields) you can add the new products to the ticket form following the same pattern that is laid out there for adding the tickets.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
