December 10, 2014 at 9:07 pm in reply to: Code snippet for descending past events – pagination broken #914910
Josh
ParticipantHello btellock,
Thanks for following up with us!
I just tested the snippet on my local install and I was able to get the pagination to work with my previous events. Do you have general pagination issues anywhere else on the site? You could try the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if the pagination works while using a default theme.
I apologize for the inconvenience but let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh

December 10, 2014 at 8:44 pm in reply to: Issue with Tickets & WooCommerce shortcode : Ticket not added to cart #914894Josh
ParticipantHello gilcatt,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
To start off with the answer to your question at the end. You can download the previous version of PRO from within your dashboard account on http://tri.be. To download the 3.8 version of the core plugin, you can do that from the WordPress.org repository here.
I’m not sure I’m following the nature of your initial issue though. Are the products that you’re adding via shortcode different products not associated with the Tickets for the events? By that I mean, are those products being added to the content area of the event via shortcode different from tickets created for the event within the “Tickets” section of that same event?
If I could get a little clarification on what you’re trying to accomplish, hopefully I could recreate the issue and help to find a solution. I apologize for the inconvenience as well as my own lack of understanding of the issue.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHello seattledog,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
As an initial step, verify that the License key for the Filter Bar plugin has been added to the site. You can check that by going to Events -> Settings and the going to the Licenses tab. Once you’ve made sure it’s added, you can go back to the Updates page under the Dashboard tab and click the Check Again button to manually check for updates.
If that doesn’t work to show the update, you can manually update the plugin by downloading the zip file from your account at http://tri.be and then uploading the files via FTP.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

This would definitely need customization beyond what we’re able to provide in the forums but hopefully I can get you pointed in the right direction. It seems for this, you have 2 starting options:
- <span style=”line-height: 13px;”>Create a new custom meta field for the Organizer CPT and populate that with the users for your site. Then, when you create an Organizer you can associate the necessary user with that organizer. </span>
- You could create a dropdown within the User profile settings that lists all the Organizers and you can associate the Organizer with the user there.
Personally, I would go the route of creating the dropdown for the user profile. I would then customize the output of the single event template using our Themer’s Guide to check whether an Organizer has been set for the event. If it hasn’t, get the author information and grab the Organizer ID based on that new field within the user profile. You could then query the Organizer using that ID.
Granted, there are some drawbacks with this approach. The main one off the top of my head would be associated with archives and filtering based on Organizer. If it isn’t directly set within the event, it won’t show when filtering even though the details show on the single event view.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello remix1998,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Correct me if I’m wrong but this doesn’t sound like a question about our plugin but a general language question about your WordPress install? If that’s the case, there is some helpful information in this article that should help you in switching the language of your WordPress install.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello tribalance,
Thanks for following up with us!
No problem! They should be able to get you sorted out with where to go specifically within your theme. The key thing to remember on our side is that the additional post type that you’ll want included within that loop is the “tribe_events” post type.
I’ll go ahead and close this ticket. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!

December 8, 2014 at 7:22 pm in reply to: Is there a way to have only one instance of a reoccurring event… #912585Josh
ParticipantHello intsculpturectr,
Thanks for following up with us!
So you are able to approve them but you’re concerned that due to the nature of recurring events that the way they display for the approval process could be overwhelming for the moderator when they do go to approve those recurring events?
This is definitely an understandable concern and one that may be useful for us to look into an alternative for that approval process for Community events. If you would like, you can add this idea to our UserVoice page so it can be considered for future development?
Thanks!
