ParticipantHey calendarofantiques,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I checked out the site and noticed the issue that you’re describing with the list view pagination not working. Additionally, I noticed a couple of other strange behaviors with the calendar while trying to navigate. Upon further investigation, I noticed that the site is generating a javascript error that is most likely causing the issues.
As an initial step, have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure that the issue isn’t a theme or plugin conflict?
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey websource,
I apologize for the delay! This follow up must’ve fallen through the cracks with the rush of the previous release.
Did the latest update of the plugin (version 3.9) address your issue with the dates or is this something that is still persisting?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Sebastian,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I just checked out your site and it looks like the recurring events are displaying on the calendar like they’re supposed to (https://cloudup.com/cJgzHatmhWC). I’m guessing you were able to resolve this issue?
I apologize if I’m misunderstanding and the issue does still persist. Let me know if there was something I missed.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Cjoles,
I apologize for the delay in being able to respond. I’m setting up a page to test with the same pages that you’re pulling in to see if I can replicate the issue locally. As a final question, are you setting these to automatically import events? If so, at what interval?
I’ll also review this issue with the rest of our support team today to see if others have any insight into what may be happening with both of these issues.
I apologize for the inconveniences but hopefully we can help to get to the root of the issue.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey fortgordonmwr,
I’m sorry the previous solution doesn’t work for your needs.
In reference to your second request where you mention:
Is it possible to add some kind of ‘exclude’ option within the single-day.php code right before it brings in the Event List? That might do it (at least for calendar view).
Here’s the block of code I’m referring to:
<?php while ( $day['events']->have_posts() ) : $day['events']->the_post(); ?> <?php tribe_get_template_part( 'month/single', 'event' ) ?> <?php endwhile; ?>
You could wrap the call to the single event template with an “if( !has_term() )” conditional to exclude a particular category from displaying within your main calendar grid.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantOwen,
I wasn’t able to find your email address prior to the site going down yesterday. Here is the email that got sent out yesterday for your reference:
“Hey!<span class=”para_break”><i class=”copy_only”>
</i></span>Thanks for your patience as we work to get our new site live! Since we understand the nature of this particular issue with “Free” pricing on Eventbrite events, we wanted to go ahead and follow up with you guys via email. We did some testing and were able to verify that this is a bug with the latest version of the plugin. As a temporary fix, since the tickets still display appropriately on single events, the simplest option will be to hide the price range from the list view. To do this, you can add the following to your theme’s “style.css” file.
<span class=”para_break”><i class=”copy_only”>`
</i></span>.tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-cost span {
display: none;
}<span class=”para_break”><i class=”copy_only”>`
</i></span>Again, we appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused. When our site is back up, we’ll tag your support thread with the necessary information to ensure that you’re updated on the progress of this particular issue. Thanks!”
Additionally, there was a response referring to the display at the very top of the single event display. That can also be temporarily removed using CSS with the following snippet:
.tribe-events-schedule .tribe-events-divider, .tribe-events-schedule .tribe-events-cost { display: none; }Again, I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused. Let me know if you have any further questions about this issue.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHello wkerslake,
Awesome! I’m glad you were able to find the root of the issue!
I’ll go ahead and close this ticket. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.

ParticipantHello wkerslake,
Thanks for following up with us and providing the screenshots!
That’s definitely very strange issue. A couple of further thoughts:
- If you’re concerned about files not being overwritten properly in update, I would suggest uploading all plugin files manually using FTP. You can download the core files directly from WordPress as well as the pro files from your account here.
- There could also be potential conflict with the “tribe_events_cat” taxonomy. It would be rare, but I wonder if the theme or another plugin is attempting to register the same taxonomy? You mentioned that you disabled other plugins, did you happen to disable the theme and use a default WordPress theme?
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Everyone,
I apologize for the delayed response.
I’m digging into trying to recreate this issue and look into a temporary solution if I’m able to recreate. Our site, http://tri.be will be going offline for a few minutes this afternoon as we migrate to a new website dedicated to The Events Calendar. To ensure there isn’t a lag in getting everyone in this thread a response, I’m collecting the email addresses from your profiles and will email everyone the results of testing.
I apologize for the inconvenience, hopefully we can get this sorted out for you guys quickly.
Thanks!
December 16, 2014 at 8:04 am in reply to: tribe_get_events arguments to return only next recurrence? #919889Josh
ParticipantHello masteagall,
Thanks for following up with us.
To be honest, I actually just stumbled upon that argument while searching for an alternative solution on our http://docs.tri.be site.
I understand and apologize for the frustration associated with not having a detailed doc covering that function. I’ve reached out to others on the team to see if they’re aware of something that currently exists. If not, it is definitely something that we’ll be looking into.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello cjoles,
Thanks for following up with us!
Would you mind sending me a screenshot of your settings page for the Facebook tab in our plugin? Could you also send me the list of pages that you’re importing from that have been added to this field here https://cloudup.com/c-NziivHKt2?
Thanks!
