ParticipantHey Samuel,
Thanks for reaching out. Typically it’s best to open a new thread so we’re able to ensure everyone gets full attention within their thread here on the forums.
Since this could apply to both, I’ll go ahead and add this response, however if you have any follow ups Samuel, please do so in a new thread 🙂
To get the sidebar to display if you don’t have a default template for displaying the layout you want, you can follow the Themer’s Guide to copy the “default-template.php” file into your theme and add the sidebar where you would like to there.
It is important to note here though that you may need to add additional class names or wrappers depending on how your theme controls the page layout. Take a look at one of the template files within your theme to get guidance on the structure you’ll want.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Stephen,
I see what you’re saying now. Unfortunately there isn’t a whole lot of support we can provide for theme related conflicts but hopefully I can help to get you pointed in the right direction.
To start, I took a look at the javascript file that controls the header functionality you describe. One thing of note is that it relies on the “#main-content” div within the the template files for triggering that resize. However, by default, the events calendar template doesn’t contain that div.
So, to remedy this, you’ll need to follow our Themer’s Guide to copy the “default-template.php” file from the “views” folder within the core plugin and add the “#main-content” wrapping div around the contents there.
That should help to get the header resizing working on the events calendar pages.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey quantafire,
I did some testing and I believe I found the issue here. Currently, our Eventbrite Tickets plugin utilizes the 1.0 version of their API. With that an API key is added to the User profile. In this case, if that specific user trying to import an event doesn’t have an API key added to their profile, it will fail to import.
However, we are very shortly going to be releasing an update to the Eventbrite Tickets plugin that should prevent this from happening. We’ll be utilizing the new App Key method that will be applied to the entire site rather than directly to the user.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Jennifer,
You can reduce the size of the headings there by adding the following to your theme’s stylesheet:
.tribe-events-list-widget h4 { font-size: 16px; }Let me know if that helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Jennifer,
No problem! I just tried accessing your site to pull the exact code here for you for the event titles however I’m seeing a “500 Internal Server Error”. Is the site still live there on staging or is at a new URL?
I’ll leave this in my queue for now as a reminder try to access the site again in an hour or so just in case.
Thanks!

April 23, 2015 at 12:02 pm in reply to: Monthly view shows "View All X Events" (Where X is more than the actual number) #957847Josh
ParticipantHey Timothy,
Sounds good. I’ll do some research on our end and review the issue with a multisite install that has multiple installs utilizing the plugin to manage events. I’m curious if the “View all X events” is pulling all events from that day for every site that has a calendar using the plugin.
I’ll follow up as well to let you know what I find.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Evgenii,
Thanks for following up! Did you also try deactivating the existing theme and switching to the default theme? There could be something in the theme and how it is interacting with the Google services that is causing the conflict.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I apologize for the inconveniences you’ve experienced with trying to work with our plugins alongside the WPML plugin. Unfortunately there are several known conflicts with WPML that, at this time, we’re unable to resolve here in support. For a little more detail, check out the knowledgebase article referencing this conflict.
However, getting our plugin compatible with WPML is a high priority for us this year and it is scheduled to be addressed in an upcoming release. I will be adding this thread to our internal ticket for tracking WPML issues and you’ll be notified as we work to address this issue.
Additionally, if you would like, you can reach out on our UserVoice page to add your vote to this functionality.
I apologize again for the inconvenience.
Wayne, if you’re experiencing additional issues with WPML deactivated, it sounds like you may have another problem not associated with this conflict. Please open a new thread and we can address your request there.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey quantafire,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
To use the import, users would need to have the “publish_tribe_events” capability added at their user level. Ensure that the users have this capability and let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Oscar,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
It sounds like your customizations can be accomplished by following our Themer’s Guide and copying some files from our plugins into your and customizing the display as you would like.
For the changes you’ve described, you will want to start by looking at the “single-event.php” file within the core events calendar plugin as well as the files within the “modules” folder which controls the output of the different sections on the single events template.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
