ParticipantHey Hans,
Thanks for reaching out to us!When
When looking at the associated WooCommerce products created when creating tickets for events, does the information box to the side have the “Catalog Visibility” setting set to “Hidden”? for your tickets? https://cloudup.com/cklxihPNMkH
Thanks!

ParticipantHey TJ,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Try adding “supress_filters => true” to the query args there and see if it helps you to get what you’re looking for.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Ken,
Try changing the “$link = true” at the top of the function to be “$link = false” and let me know if that gets you what you’re after here.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Jeremy,
Thanks for following up here!
Unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to provide support or complete guidance in handling a customization like this. I would be happy to provide support on how to use certain filters or manage certain functions when trying to implement something like this but I wouldn’t be able to help in architecting a solution from the start.
We do however have a list of recommended developers that you could use to contact for further customization support https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Ken,
The last line of the function attached to the filter should be “return $featured_image;” Sorry I missed that in the original suggestion there.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Steve,
I’ve tested with the same version of the Twenty Sixteen but wasn’t able to replicate the issue. This would lead me to either two options here:
- There have been some minor customizations made to the theme that are causing the issue here. If so, I’d be happy to take a look at the files and offer an alternative for making the customization in a way that won’t break the javascript in the theme. I would need a zip file of the theme to be able to help this way.
- or it is a plugin conflict and following the Testing for Conflicts procedures would have caused the issue to be resolved.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Nancy,
Sounds good! Our Event Tickets Plus does work great with WooCommerce and we’d be happy to help you with any questions or issues you have with setting up our plugins on your site.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Morris,

Take a look at this knowledgebase item on hiding those recurrences in the admin.
Let me know if this helps.

ParticipantHey Jeremy,

To clarify, it sounds like you need a system that allows users to select a ticket for a specific date and then only allow that purchased ticket to be checked-in on that set date.
Our current tools wouldn’t allow this out of the box, however with a bit of customization, I’m sure you could create a system that allowed you to utilize just our Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus plugins and add a date field as a custom meta for the tickets. From there, you could
From there, you could filter the check-in process to only allow checking in if the current date matches the meta on the ticket.
Unfortunately a customization like this would also be beyond what we’d be able to provide support for here in our forums.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Iman,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
There wouldn’t be a feature in our Pro plugin that would help in accomplishing something like this out of the box.
I’m not able to give customization support here in the Pre-Sales forum but hopefully I can help to get you pointed in the right direction.
You could try using a custom query to build the past events list there using the eventDisplay => ‘past’ option there. You could also do something similar using the pre_get_posts action on the existing event queries on the home page.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

You can use something like the following as a starting point for filtering the output there to be what you would like:

ParticipantHey Nancy,
Thanks for following up here!
If this is happening generally with the WooCommerce shortcode throughout the site, it is likely they have seen something like this before and would be able to give you a much better answer toward getting to the root of the issue than I could.
Our Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus plugins would work well here to give you a fully integrated process for creating event-specific tickets with WooCommerce directly when creating your events.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Kelly,
Thanks for reaching out here!
We have a fix coming for this in an upcoming maintenance release however, try the following CSS added to your theme’s stylesheet as a temporary fix here:
.tribe-events-filters-vertical { float: left; width: 25%; }Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Lucas,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I apologize for any confusion or frustration here. When you purchase our plugins, you have access to updates and support for one year. To get the latest versions of the plugins (Events Calendar PRO and now Event Tickets Plus) you’ll need to renew your licenses.
If you have any questions regarding the renewal process for those, we ask that you reach out to us at support[at]theeventscalendar.com and we’d be happy to get you setup with the proper renewals there.
Thanks!
