ParticipantI’ve been using ECP on several sites for quite a while, and have just come across a buggy issue for the second time on one of the sites.
We want to allow registration for an event by using the WooCommerce shortcode, e.g. [prooduct_page id=”1496″]
Normally this works OK, however sometimes it does not and there appears to be some sort of problem occurring that causes the event to show a different product, not the one whose ID is specified in the shortcode.
For example this page has the product ID for the Dec. 10 workshop product embedded, but it shows a test product instead.

Can you give me any hint as to why this may be happening??
many thanks

ParticipantHey Nancy,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This definitely sounds like an odd issue to be having. As a starting point here, can you try adding the shortcode to a non-event page? Does the same issue happen on that other page?
Let me know what you find there.
Thanks!

ParticipantWell, I’ll be darned, I didn’t think of that. It is a problem with regular pages, too. So I will take it up with WooCommerce.
I guess another option is to purchase your Tickets Pro plugin ?
thanks,

ParticipantHey Nancy,
Thanks for following up here!
If this is happening generally with the WooCommerce shortcode throughout the site, it is likely they have seen something like this before and would be able to give you a much better answer toward getting to the root of the issue than I could.
Our Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus plugins would work well here to give you a fully integrated process for creating event-specific tickets with WooCommerce directly when creating your events.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks, I am working with Woo. If they can’t resolve it, will try your Events Tickets Plus plugin since it is compatible with Woo (in theory anyway?).

ParticipantHey Nancy,
Sounds good! Our Event Tickets Plus does work great with WooCommerce and we’d be happy to help you with any questions or issues you have with setting up our plugins on your site.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!
