Ian, I don’t think it’s a priority on their list to get the plugin to play well with Thesis right now. To get it to work, I had to roll back to the following version:

    The Events Calendar 2.0.11
    Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11
    Community Events 1.0.5
    Eventbrite Tickets 1.0.5
Facebook Events 1.0.4 / 1.0.5 (either is fine; 1.0.5 recommended)
    WooTickets 1.0 / 1.0.1 (either is fine; 1.0.1 recommended)

I rolled back my plugins to the following and everything is working again. This is unfortunate, since Facebook events is creating many duplicate venues/organizers, so I was looking forward to the ability to merge those.

    Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11
    Community Events 1.0.5
    Facebook Events 1.0.5

Thanks Barry. I rolled back to everything matching 2.0.11 and it all works again just fine. What a pain. I was looking forward the the ability to merge duplicate venues/organizers, since Facebook Events is creating a bunch of duplicates when I import events.

Barry, I found where I can download an older version of the premium plugins that worked with Thesis, so I’ve rolled those back. However, where can I download an older version of The Events Calendar? I can’t seem to find older versions to download. Can you give me a link to download the version before this latest set of releases, because that’s when it broke for me?

Barry, I’ve been using The Events Calendar Pro with Thesis since January 2012. While, like I said, there were conflicts, such as the full-page and custom pages not working, it’s always worked if I chose “default page template” with custom CSS styling. What I don’t understand is why, suddenly, it wouldn’t find anything to put on the Events Page. It’s like it can’t find any events at all or the Calendar to render on the page.

I’ve found that it does work if I choose “Default Events Template”, but even when I select “Full Styles” I lose everything – header, sidebar, menu, website colors/design, footer, everything… Plus, it looks completely unprofessional.

Changing themes is not an option for me, because it’s not that easy. Since I’ve had my entire site professionally designed for Thesis and have been using it for 4 years, I would have to start from scratch with a redesign, plus lose all my SEO meta data and post images. I don’t even have the default WordPress theme installed to my site any longer and really don’t want to invest weeks redoing my site from scratch and manually going back through 15,000 posts to re-add each image and all the other stuff I’d lose when I left Thesis.

Oh, just FYI, I do have a database prefix that is not the standard wp_, if that helps.

My calendar is still broken as well. I’m using The Events Calendar 3.0.1 and The Events Calendar Pro 3.0.3. I have the latest version of WordPress and Theme Thesis 1.8.

    Calendar Page: http://deals.ingoodcents.com/events

Error Message: “If there were posts in the database, you’d be seeing them. Try creating a post, and see if that solves your problem.”

However, I do see the events on my dashboard and in my database. My individual events are still working, though they look horrible (http://deals.ingoodcents.com/event/pottery-barn-kids-story-time-2/2013-12-31).

On a side note, I hate that every time this plugin updates, I have to spend a bunch of time adjusting my CSS to make it fit back within the post area and look professional. Everything is always all over the place.

I’m having the same problem. My calendar is completely gone and saying “no posts found”, though the events are in my database. I do not use Cloudflare, so that’s not the issue. I thought I read somewhere that there was an update to fix this, because it was an error in the upgraded plugin coding, however when will this update be available on the dashboard? Is it available to download only through our accounts? Thanks!

My entire calendar has disappeared as well and now goes to my “Page not found” page. I’ve reset my permalinks and tried everything, except downgrading, which I may need to try next.

I’m having this same problem. After the upgrade my entire calendar has disappeared and now has my “There’s nothing here” page showing. I’ve reset my permalinks and I’m using the default slug for the calendar.

I am using Thesis 1.8.2. It’s never played well with the look of the calendar. I’d love to get it on a full page template, but while that works for other things I have on my site, The Event Calendar leaves my sidebar there. I’m just not technical enough to create a custom page template. I tried. I was totally lost and just made a mess.

I had CSS in there to control the width, but it stopped working after the upgrade and no matter what I did, it kept spitting on me, but that works. Thank you!!

My site design does use featured images, but typically when I create a post, I have to pull up an image and select “set featured image”. Since I can’t do that in this case, I’m not sure why or how it’s setting that image as the featured. It seems to be working on every page/event.

At least that’s less of an issue than the calendar going over the sidebar though! I’ll see if my designer can figure it out.

Merging Organizing/Locations would be nice, because some of the Facebook Events I import are causing duplicate Organizers/Locations. It seems to be that the page is listing it differently each time, even through it’s the same. Also, not importing the default Facebook image, if the page didn’t upload an image. I have a lot a lot of default Facebook images in my Media Gallery now.
