MemberHello @convocations, and thanks for reaching out!
Strange, it looks like those two links point to the same view (appears to be the List View) and the Previous Events link is working. Did you happen to solve the issue on your own or perhaps I’m looking in the wrong place and you can point me in the right direction?
Cheers!

MemberHi Cat,
Coincidentally, I just answered a similar thread on this just a couple minutes ago. PayPal integrates with EDD rather than EDD Tickets, so the EDD site has much more thorough information about how to set this up. Here’s a page that outlines the different types of PayPal integration, with links to those extensions which provide more information about installing and using those extensions.
Will this help get you started? Please let me know. 🙂
Thanks!

MemberHowdy Melissa!
Good question. Yes, that link is excellent for setting up a test environment (aka “sandbox”) for PayPal. This page will help you choose the right sort of PayPal account for your needs with links to those specific extensions which, in turn, will provide more details on installation and use.
Cheers!

MemberHey Brendan and thanks for getting in touch!
We do indeed have an Unlimited License available for each plugin, which sounds like is the best fit for you. For example, the Unlimited License for Events Calendar PRO is $750 and provides updates and support for an unlimited number of sites.
We do offer discounts for non-profits. Learn more here → https://theeventscalendar.com/apply-for-nppp/
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know if you have other questions and I’d be happy to help!

MemberThanks for the extra info, Kevin! I really appreciate it. 🙂
That makes a lot of sense now why the widget is showing up the way it is–the template that was being used in the Settings.
The feature you mentioned in the private reply is a work in progress. For now, you can embed any calendar widget with Events Calendar PRO.
We left the feature request open because we know that’s just scratching the surface when it comes to shortcodes. While we don’t have any concrete updates for embedding full calendar views, it would awesome if you could add your vote there and leave a comment that outlines how you would use full view shortcodes. For example, which views would you want to be available in shortcodes, what sort of variables should be considered in those shortcodes, and what elements of each view should be included by default? That would help us out a lot as we gather feedback for how those should work.
For now, I think a template override of the default-template.php calendar template file is the best way to go. I would register a new sidebar area and add it to the calendar template in a way that best fits your layout. You can check out how template overrides work here in our Themer’s Guide.
Cheers!

MemberHi Kevin,
Are you using the default event template? For example, if you head to Events > Settings > Display, is the template option set to Default Events Template or something else?
Also, just to check, are you using any custom templates for the calendar? You can check this by looking for a folder called tribe-events in your theme directory.
Just want to make sure I’m touching all bases before I start leading down different paths. 🙂
Thanks!

MemberHello Jamie and thanks for getting in touch! I hope one of our tickets add-ons will do the trick for you here and I’m happy to answer your questions. 🙂
Can your plugin offer a maximum number of seats for each session/event so they don’t get over subscribed?
Yes, any of the ticketing add-ons allows you to set a ceiling for the number of tickets that are available for each event. Please note that if you have multiple types of tickets for an events (i.e. General Admission and VIP), then those are treated as separate inventories rather than sharing the same pool of seats. That could certainly lead to overbooking if not monitored.
Would the number of seats available be displayed in the calendar for each session/event?
Not by default, but there is a function that would allow you to display a remaining number of tickets in the event.
If an end user books 1x full day then we would need the morning and afternoon sessions availability to be reduced by 1 each as well. Can your plugin offer this?
Unfortunately, no. At the moment, each event accounts for its own supply of tickets and those inventories cannot be shared between events though it is something we have started working on.
Need end users to be able to book more than 1 session – For example an end user could choose 7 sessions at different times/dates and then pay for all 7 in one go?
Once a ticket has been added to the cart, the user can either continue “shopping” or check out from there. So, yes, multiple tickets can be purchased at once regardless of which ticketing solution you choose and which eCommerce platform it corresponds to.
Need to have additional fields that we can use on the registration form – such as checkboxes, drop downs and text fields?
This is likely the deal breaker for you. Additional fields are not currently accepted during checkout. In other words, the only information that is collecting is what the eCommerce platform captures during checkout. You may be able to integrate additional fields in checkout using something like Gravity Forms, but then that information still has to be attached to its respective ticket somehow. That said, we are currently testing this feature and hope to have it released in the near future.
Does your plgin have some form of events dashboard so an administrator could easily see how many attendees there are at each event/session?
Yes, you can click an “Attendees” link on an event and see how many tickets have been sold, how many are available, who has checked into the event, and who purchased the tickets. From there, you can export a list of attendees as well.
What payment methods are included with this plugin and can we offer more than one payment method for each event?
This depends entirely on the eCommerce platform you choose. For example, our WooCommerce Tickets ticketing add-on integrates with WooCommerce, which accepts just about any payment method with the proper payment gateway configuration.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know and thanks again for reaching out!

MemberHi Thomas!
Sorry, my German is pretty rusty. I do get the gist that you’re having issues importing events using the CSV Importer though.
Quick question:Â do you have a license for premium support here in the forums? If so, please do sign in and we can continue the conversation. If not, then please post a thread on our open source forum, which is where we respond to all other technical issues like this one.
I’ll move this thread to our Events Calendar PRO forum for the time being since it seems to be a technical question rather than a pre-sales one. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHello Cynthia,
Looks like Brian already beat me to the punch and answered your question here. In short, that is indeed an issue and we are looking into it. Brian recommends downgrading to 3.11 for the time being and that sounds right to me as well.
Sorry for the hassle here but thanks for bearing with us and letting us know!

MemberGotcha, thanks for the extra info!
Since the calendar has been set up to display on the homepage, that means the calendar is using the main template of your theme instead of the calendar template the plugin typically uses (which does not include a sidebar).
In this case, you will likely need to modify your theme’s template to make sure that the sidebar displays where you would like it to. That would take a bit of coding on your end, but is probably the cleanest way to do it and your theme author might even be willing to help.
Another way to go about it is to hide the sidebar from the homepage altogether. You could add something like this to your theme’s style.css file to do that:
.events-archive .sidebar-right .inner-content {
display: none;
}Either way, the widget is positioned the way it is because of where the sidebar location is placed in the template file. 🙂
Cheers!
