MemberHi Charlie,
Good question! We do indeed strip HTML out of text inputs as a security measure–otherwise, malicious code could be inserted into your site unbeknownst to you.
If you’re looking for an image upload option, I would suggest using Advanced Custom Fields and assigning a custom image upload field for the Events post type. From there, you can use a template override (see our Themer’s Guide for more info) to insert the image into the event template where you would like it to display on the front end.
Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberGood question!
You can change any text within the calendar. This tutorial provides a nice step-by-step approach for how that works:
Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberThat is indeed strange!
I’m glad it works but it’s still troubling that it happened at all. I’m hoping that was a simple anomaly and that it won’t come up again but, if it does, please do let us know in a new thread and we’d definitely be happy to check it out.
Thanks for following up. 🙂

MemberHi @Rhonda,
So sorry for the trouble here!
There is indeed a way to embed the Community Events submission form into another page using a shortcode:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/linking-to-community-events-pages/
Looking at the site, I also see you have a duplicated header which I believe can be fixed by adding this to your theme’s style.css file or using a plugin like Simple Custom CSS:
#tribe-community-events .tribe-events-before-html { display: none; }Let me know if this helps clean things up a bit. 🙂
Thanks!

MemberThanks, Dell!
This does look like the other cases we’ve seen. We’re still looking into this one and hope to roll out a fix in our next maintenance release.
In the meantime, we wrote a plugin that will help resolve this for most cases. Please install it temporarily until the next release and see if it helps:
https://github.com/bordoni/tec-forum-support/tree/plugin-ticket-44253
If it does not work for some reason, you can also try the method suggested here, which has resolved the issue in other cases we’ve seen.
Sorry for the trouble on this and I hope this helps provide some relief while we work to patch this up in an official release.
Thanks!

MemberHey there, Matthew!
Can you clarify a bit more what you mean by nominal? If I understand correctly, Event Tickets Plus currently does allow multiple tickets to be purchased at once, but does not support the ability to identify specific people to each ticket, though that is something we are working on for a future release.
Cheers!

MemberHi Joel,
We think we’ve narrowed down the issue and it’s due to a change to make it more compatible with other plugins and themes, but instead it backfired.
So to resolve this for now please copy the contents of this:
to this file here on your site:
plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Templates.php
That should then resolve it until we include an official patch in the next maintenance release.
Let me know if that works for you.
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff

MemberHey Remi,
I’m afraid that tickets do not support recurring events at the moment. In other words, tickets for a recurring event will be created for all events and share from the same stock where a ticket sold in one event is sold on the other events as well.
The good news, however, is that we have this feature in the works and are planning it for an upcoming release, tentatively for Event Tickets Plus 4.2. You can follow along with the feature request here and be notified when that releases.
Sorry for the trouble, but does this help shed light on the issue and answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks,

MemberHey Jonathan,
Thanks for re-opening this and keeping us honest on it.
We are indeed working on it and actually have it slated for our next maintenance release, which is scheduled to release next week. I’ll mark this thread Pending Fix and be sure to update it when the release has shipped.
Thanks for your patience and sticking with us on this while we work it out!

MemberHi Dell and sorry for the trouble!
We have indeed seen this pop up in other threads as well. Would you be willing to head to Events > Settings > Help, copy your System Information at the bottom of the screen, and paste it here as a private reply? I want to check your settings against the other reports to see if we’re dealing with the same issue.
Thanks!
