    OK – I’ve managed to get single events to import. I’m still confused as to the correct place to do that?

    Is it;

    Events > Import > Eventbrite
    Events > Legacy Import > Eventbrite

    I’m thinking the first, but need to check.

    Given that, i’ve tried to import all the events from an organiser and haven’t been successful, yet i can import single events, is that as designed or should i be able to import ALL events from the organiser?

    I’ve done some tweaking with adding categories and making events sticky, it’s updated the event but said i have no authority to update the original, which is fine, but is the event still linked as such? Will any changes from the original event be pushed to my version?

    Am i right in saying it’s essentially a one of import for individual events ?

    Hi Victor, I didn’t think i could be ANY clearer than the text above and supporting image?!

    It’s only 1 Facebook event page, and it’s the only one that includes a “&” in the title. It’s created several more since reporting this issue 4 days ago. Lots of other events have been imported before and after with no duplication.

    I do believe i’ve reported this issue before, with this import source and was told it had been scheduled for a fix.

    Here’s the organiser in question – “Tall Dark & Art”. I’ve deleted the duplicates then as new events are imported it recreates them. Given it’s the only one with a ‘special character’ i can only assume it’s the & doing it.

    Update – I can now add new imports. I thought it might have been a cache issue, I logged in from another browser, problem still existed. Gave it a few hours, problem resolved.

    Hi Barry – we have connection!!! Nothing done by my, happened to see there were plugin updates and figured we had a connection, checked and we do!

    I’ve tested a manual “Run Import” and all is good. I’ll be patient and see if the auto picks up, but I expect it too.

    The only thing I’m still seeing is “Buy Event Aggregator” when I go to add another import, any suggestions? I’ll continue to check it and see if resolves itself.

    Thanks Barry. I have recurring events that are no longer creating the ‘next’ event. I presume that’s because there’s no connectivity to the license server. My recurring events are set to create 1 month in advance.

    So it’s not just the importing that’s not being done, it’s existing events that have been manually entered that are no longer being created …. my event calendar is shrinking.

    I used to be able to put up with hitting “Run Import” for the 135 or so events i have once a week, i don’t even have that option now. Even that was a pain when it imported 20+ new venues i needed to tidy up.

    We’re 10+ days since the last import …. please offer up ANY suggestion to fix this.

    Thanks for the update. I’m checking this thread up until midnight my time, in the event there’s a request for info / for me to perform a test, so I can keep the thread moving against the time difference.

    If you can treat this as a priority I’d appreciate it. I’ve spent hours upon hours trying to resolve myself without success.

    I need an actual resolution this issue sooner than later please.

    I’ve de-activated and activated ALL plugins including Modern Tribe, still experiencing the problem.

    Server support have been looking into it for hours and they says it’s your end.

    Here’s the error with that plugin installed.

    The server support tell me there’s no block on the ea website.

    Hi Barry, here’s what I’m seeing down the bottom. I’ll try disconnecting and reconnecting FB and anything else I can see. I’ll try and install the plugin too.

    Thanks for replying Barry, no … it hasn’t fixed itself. Yes, i checked and saw my license was valid before creating this issue. It’s bad enough with the time difference but several days passing before any response just adds to my frustration.

    No, there’s no imports happening, it still asks me to buy Event Aggregator in the drop down where i add new imports and all licenses still come up red saying server not available.

    I’ve updated to the latest versions today, but still nothing. So that makes it a total of about 3 days with a working system out of about ~250 … the frustration continues.

    Well, i can happily report, i’ve upgraded to the latest versions and the event aggregator is working automatically! All event images are coming in nicely and there doesn’t seem to be any issues on the surface. Will keep watching but at this stage it looks like we’ve got a working product.

    Fingers crossed it all keeps working, well done.
