Initial Import Results In Nothing

I’ve installed and confirmed the license is connected etc … and run through Events > Import > Eventbrite.

I’ve added the url for the eventbrite organiser, hit the import button then it gives me this screen.

There i was thinking something would just work first time without having constant grief … but no, that’s too good to be tru.e.

OK – I’ve managed to get single events to import. I’m still confused as to the correct place to do that?

Is it;

Events > Import > Eventbrite
Events > Legacy Import > Eventbrite

I’m thinking the first, but need to check.

Given that, i’ve tried to import all the events from an organiser and haven’t been successful, yet i can import single events, is that as designed or should i be able to import ALL events from the organiser?

I’ve done some tweaking with adding categories and making events sticky, it’s updated the event but said i have no authority to update the original, which is fine, but is the event still linked as such? Will any changes from the original event be pushed to my version?

Am i right in saying it’s essentially a one of import for individual events ?

Sorry you’ve had a rough time getting started with this, Neil.

You can actually use either of the screens you noted but I’d recommend you use the Events → Import → Eventbrite admin screen.

At this time, Eventbrite Tickets only supports importing individual events: you cannot automatically import all events from a specific organizer.

Yes: the event should still be linked (though, if you ever need to, you can set the Leave this event associated with eventbrite.com? option to No and break the link).

Changes made to the source event on eventbrite.com however are not automatically pushed to your local WordPress copy of the event.
