ParticipantThe issue is with scheduled imports, obviously it wouldn’t duplicate events in a one time imports. All of my issues have always been with scheduled imports.
Attached are the settings of the scheduled import.
Im not sure what you mean by rescheduling from scratch? Do you want me to delete the events and rerun again or what?
Joseph Coppola
ParticipantThe problem is events are getting duplicated, getting entered with wrong dates, etc etc. Theres tons of issues. If you look at the image here, you will see that MINI DRIVE is duplicated and Coffee + bikes has two entries but with two different dates.

These events should mirror whats on the originating Events Calendar site

The above is the import source which is: http://www.culpepercycling.com/events/

ParticipantOk so how does the Website B get the information from Website A? In reading the documents it seems that this works with everything BUT Events Calendar. Is there any documentation to show this?
Joseph Coppola
ParticipantYou actually did not answer anything. You mention this.
“tribe-events-bar-views filter”
Without any reference of where to find it, what PHP page its on, nothing.
Also coding help is provided via this forum there are several articles written about stuff like this.

ParticipantThis really isn’t much of a help. What files am I supposed to edit? Where am I supposed to edit them? What code do I need to add?
Please help.

ParticipantPlease note that instead of actually updating the event, it created a “new” event.

ParticipantCan you confirm that the latest release of iCal fixes this issue?
Joseph Coppola
ParticipantThe snippet Josh mentioned was ONLY to keep deleted events from being changed to a deleted event type. It has no effect on the actual issues with duplicate events.
I have performed the DB optimization. However that only removes the deleted records its not a temporary fix. Additionally no on mentioned that the duplicate issue was NOT fixed. If thats the case then I will disable my daily imports until one arrives.
Lastly there are about 150 events imported from the iCal feed… but it duplicated ALL events everytime the process runs.
Joseph Coppola
ParticipantOk. Here we go again. Once again the iCal importer is duplicating events. It seems once it runs as a scheduled daily job is when it occurs!

ParticipantThe timezone of the calendar is:”use site wide timezone everywhere”
and the WP time zone is NYC
