    hay george—
    thanks so much for this nudge in the right direction. i had been playing around with something similar but your advice gave me the push i needed. that said, i would love any additional recommendations you could offer for my css. below is what im currently using, however i’m unsure if it’s the right approach (i know enough css to get things to look ok, but not always best practices).

    additionally, im bumping into an issue with responsive resizing. do you know how i could make the “sidebar” info appear below the event listings once the layout goes full width?

    div#temp-sb {
        width: 25%;
        float: left;
        clear: right;
        position: absolute;
    }

    div#tribe-geo-results {
        float: right;
        clear: both;
    }

    all the best,
    emily

    hi shelby—

    do you have any indication of when this issue will be addressed? i had a similar issue with community events and it took 3-4 weeks to be resolved. this website is scheduled to launch early next week and needless to say, im not looking forward to another conversation about a glitch with the plugin where we have to wait a month for resolution.

    any insight is appreciated,
    emily

    hi again–

    so it appears that this issue has now appeared on the client’s live site, despite the fact that i still haven’t done the upgrades on any of the 4 TEC plugins i use on the site. the attached screenshot will show what the page is supposed to look like. i did see that there is a similar thread about the filter bar going horizontal and i imagine this is related? seems odd however since i havent updated this site.

    please let me know how to correct this, i have disabled the filter bar plugin on the client’s site until this is resolved, though you can still see the issue on the dev site.

    again, thanks,
    emily

    thanks for the nudge, hunter… i got into the filter-view-vertical.php file and added some css to bring in text and a button. if you check out the link you can see that it appears right below the filter bar. do you anticipate any issues with this technique?

    thanks!

    hi hunter,

    i wouldnt think this is too difficult of a request, i’m just wanting to use the space below the filter bar for a link to the community events add-on. im not sure where else on the page it could go… except for at the bottom of all the event listings and that seems like it’d be hard to find.

    hi cliff–

    it seems like you may have misunderstood the question. im not trying to modify the layout of the widget (which i have already done, and yes, that is the correct file). as i stated in my question, im working on the map view landing page (or archive page?). this file: /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/map/single-event.php controls the layout of the page, however, i can’t figure out where the specific layout of the address is controlled.

    and again i dont want to change the layout of the individual post pages (they are displaying correctly), please refer to the mock up i sent over as to what im after—you can see the page here: http://dev3.design-agency.org/calendar/

    thanks!

    ok… i get the general idea, thanks for the push in the right direction. i think i’ll look for another option though–in my experience working with hacked tribe events files on the genesis platform leads to a nightmare when future updates are released!

    hi geoff–

    i think i’ve isolated the issue and wonder if you could lend some assurance for when i update the live site.

    i tried everything you recommended, however the issue persisted. what i think is happening is a conflict of some sort with the site registration through modern tribe? what ended up working was to delete the community events and ce pro plugins and update the free ce plugin. then i manually loaded the community events and pro plugins, and all seems to be ok.

    so im curious to know if the issue is in fact the site registration through modern tribe… meaning there may be no issue at all when i update the live site. or, will i need to do the manual update like i did on the test site?

    thanks,
    emily

    hay brook–

    i’ve decided to nix the month view on mobile altogether, so there is no longer an issue! thanks for the follow up, i really appreciate it.
