I found a way to temporarily fix. If I create a custom sidebar and place the events calendar widget in it, everything loads properly. I don’t even have to use the sidebar in a layout for it to fix the issue. Not sure why but it works.

I really do not want to zip up my entire site and send to you. Is there no other options for me to try??
September 22, 2017 at 10:19 am in reply to: Widget has endless spinner with after PRO 4.4.17 update #1353581Chris ClaghornParticipantThanks Tim, I have a handful of sites still having the same issue after using any version of Event Calendar Pro after 4.4.15. The only common factor is they all use a parent theme of Ultimatum and they are all seeing the issue with the calendar widget. The suggestion didn’t work for me either.
September 15, 2017 at 11:45 am in reply to: Widget has endless spinner with after PRO 4.4.17 update #1349928Chris ClaghornParticipantI’m having the same issue, but it looks to be with any site using the theme Ultimatum. Please advise if there is something that will fix. The Event Calendar is at 4.5.12.2 but PRO stopped working after 4.4.15. Looks to be an issue with the PRO plugin.
July 8, 2016 at 11:44 am in reply to: Events Calendar 4.2.2 stops posts from being displayed in VC Post Grid #1137467Chris ClaghornParticipantIt’s an element in Visual Composer named “Post Grid”. It seems to ignore any events but can pull in regular WordPress posts. Post Grid still populates the tags I’ve used on Events but does not show them anymore since the latest update. Hope that helps a little
July 8, 2016 at 9:44 am in reply to: Events Calendar 4.2.2 stops posts from being displayed in VC Post Grid #1137365Chris ClaghornParticipantI’m referring to Visual Composer Grid Builder (https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/display/VC/Grid+Builder). I’ve been using it with your plugin for over 3 years at least.
July 8, 2016 at 8:43 am in reply to: Events Calendar 4.2.2 stops posts from being displayed in VC Post Grid #1137249Chris ClaghornParticipantI found this link on WordPress: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/download/
Once I reverted back to version 4.2.1 of PRO and 4.2.1.1 of the main plugin my events come back into the VC Post Grid which is filtering posts by tags. Let me know when the bug is fixed.
June 10, 2016 at 7:26 am in reply to: Tons of Warning messages in error Log upon upgrading to version 4.2 #1125050Chris ClaghornParticipantSame exact errors here. They only appear when on main events listing page when in “month” view.
Chris ClaghornParticipantFound one that works well with the Events Calendar and let’s me pull in filtered carousel by venue too. Plugin name is Meta Slider Pro
Chris ClaghornParticipantIs there a post carousel plugin that would pull certain venues from Events Calendar Pro that you would suggest? I’m not opposed to using a different method as long as I can use your plugin 🙂
Chris ClaghornParticipantThanks Brian, that works GREAT!!!
Chris ClaghornParticipantThank you! That did it.
Chris ClaghornParticipantIs there a fix for this issue? Even if I delete both Calendar Plugins and re-install the events are still listed that way in the admin. Help
Chris ClaghornParticipantHere is a link to my screenshot: http://snag.gy/skKsI.jpg
I was just notified by another customer that they are experiencing the same issue. Thanks!
Chris ClaghornParticipantWell the P3 plugin still points to your plugin as the most resource user. But I came across some script to utilize GZIP compression software on the servers. It alone increased all of my WordPress sites load times.
