ParticipantI’m seeing this Javascript error on the page (http://d.pr/i/FjIE). This error is ocurring because Classipress is including a duplicate version of jQuery UI which is causing a conflict with your theme: http://d.pr/i/sGIR
I’m seeing a separate version in your theme footer here: http://d.pr/i/4wUJ
Just remove the jQuery UI reference from Classipress and I think it should work. Let me know if that does the trick. Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since you’re all good, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin.

ParticipantKyle,
Were you able to resolve this issue? Just let me know if we can close this thread out. Thanks!Casey
ParticipantNathan,
Since this seems to be an issue with the Events Calendar add-on (and not Community), I’m going to move this over to the PRO forum. Please stand by and someone from our support team will assist. Thanks!Casey
ParticipantThat’s correct Hanen. Unfortunately this isn’t currently possible, except for the way that you’re currently doing it. In the future, I’m hoping we might add a filter so that advanced users can use a different page template than the main Events Calendar.
Hope that helps!
Casey
ParticipantTony,
I’m not aware of any tutorials that will accomplish the custom functionality that you’re wanting, but you can add Custom Fields to the form using the EC Pro ‘Additional Fields’ functionality. Any fields you add there (like a ‘Featured’ Checkbox), will also show up on your Event Submission form.I know that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, but hopefully it gets you started in the right direction. Good luck, and let us know if we can help with anything else!
November 11, 2013 at 8:00 am in reply to: Make date picker show one month instead of three months #75630Casey
ParticipantTony,
You should be able to paste the following code into your theme’s functions.php file to display only one month: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/7415507Give that a shot and let me know if it solves the problem. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantBenjamin,
This was recently updated to begin using your EC template settings. Just go to ‘Events->Settings->Display’ and you’ll see this dropdown: http://d.pr/i/FGgTWhatever option you select there, Community will use. Hope that helps!

ParticipantDoreswap,
Sorry to hear you’re having issues here, but hopefully I can help! Can you either make your Event submission page public, or send me a private reply with a login so I can take a closer look? Thanks!Casey
ParticipantColuminate,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry, but that’s not currently possible without a lot of custom code, which we unfortunately can’t support. There are several supported ways to customize the form and other aspects of the Community add-on. Take a look at some of the Community Events Tutorials here (https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendar-for-wordpress-tutorials/) and let me know they accomplish what you’re hoping to do.
Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantNathan,
So sorry to hear you’re having these issues. Can you please try deactivating all other plugins and see if this issue still persists?November 7, 2013 at 11:43 am in reply to: Need to insert Introduction text before the Community Submission Form #75196Casey
ParticipantRobin,
You should be able to add this code to your theme’s functions.php file to add some text to the login form: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/7360689Give that a shot and let me know if it does what you’re needing. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantNeil,
Just wanted to check in and see if you have everything you need here. Thanks!Casey

ParticipantMastafu,
Unfortunately we don’t have a filter for that in Community events, but you should be able to do the following by dequeueing the Community styles and enqueueing your own styles. Just paste this code snippet into your theme’s functions.php file and it should get you started in the right direction: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/7321714Let me know if that does the trick! Thanks!
