Participantdesignmyweb,
Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, we don’t have any “out of the box” functionality to allow for this, however you could use ‘Private’ events for this functionality, so that only logged-in members would be able to view these. If this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin. Thanks! 🙂

Participantbrightestspark,
Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. In version 3.5, we changed how the tooltip template works. We’re now using Javascript templating for all of the tooltips. So, if you’ve performed any template overrides related to the tooltips, then you’ll need to copy over the new template files and make your modifications to the updated template files.Hopefully that points you in the right direction, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantbenjaminsiegel,
Thanks for getting in touch. Can you tell me what tutorial you’re referring to, so I can investigate the steps outlined there? Also, take a look at our themer’s guide, which will show you how to perform template overrides to customize the views as you’d like.Take a look there and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantvisionflow,
Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you try going to ‘Events->Settings->Display’ and changing the ‘Events Template’ setting to ‘Default’ to see if that resolves the issue (screenshot)?Give that a shot and then let me know if we need to investigate further. Thanks! 🙂

March 31, 2014 at 6:39 am in reply to: isn't there a "submit event" button on the user view of event calendar page? #125153Casey
Participantworldviewpr,
Thanks for getting in touch. I’ve never seen the button that you’re referring to. Is it possible that you (or someone who developed your site) directly modified the plugin files to do this? If so, then your customziations would have been lost when you upgraded the plugin. Take a look at our themer’s guide for instructions on how to correctly make customizations, so that your changes won’t be lost when performing upgrades.Take a look there and then let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantsrsackman,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Try going to your License Keys page and clicking ‘Disconnect Now’ next to all of the sites that are listed there. Then, copy your license key(s) from that page. Next, in your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Events->Settings->Licenses’ and paste in your license key in the box
Click away from the box and wait for the license key to verify, and then click ‘Save Changes’.
This should “reset” your license keys to make sure everything is verifying correctly.
Give that a shot and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂
yuma360,
Go ahead and try the steps above, and if you still have issues please create a new thread so we can address your issue specifically. Thanks!-Casey-

Participantgroberts23,
Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like your best option would be to create new views instead of modifying the old ones. Take a look at this blog post that references how to install the stub plugin. You can use this plugin as a frame of reference/example for how to create custom views with ECP.Hopefully that gets you pointed in the right direction, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantTim,
Sorry things weren’t really clear for you in the themer’s guide, but here’s the info that’s most appropriate for you: http://grab.by/vx0E You’ll want to copy over any template files & folders from ‘/wp-content/plugins/events-community/views/’ and put them in your newly created ‘tribe-events/community/’ directory. Make sure to only copy over the files & folders that you’re wishing to override. In order to edit the map-related checkboxes, you should only have to override ‘modules/venue.php’ to make the checkboxes always checked (checked=”checked”), and then you could use some CSS to hide the fields from the user (display:none).
I hope that points you in the right direction, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantTim,
Thanks for getting in touch. If you’re referring to events that are submitted via the Community add-on, then it’s possible they’re set as ‘Pending’ depending on what setting you have set in your Community settings (screenshot). If you’re not seeing any events at all on the back-end, could you send me a screenshot so I can investigate further? Thanks! 🙂
