isn't there a "submit event" button on the user view of event calendar page?

I thougth I remember seeing a ADD YOUR EVENT button that appears on the actual front end (user view) of the Event Calendar /events/

The search filters are there and the toggle for event view (list day month) but nothing there for someone to initiate submission of their own event

Thanks for getting in touch. I’ve never seen the button that you’re referring to. Is it possible that you (or someone who developed your site) directly modified the plugin files to do this? If so, then your customziations would have been lost when you upgraded the plugin. Take a look at our themer’s guide for instructions on how to correctly make customizations, so that your changes won’t be lost when performing upgrades.

Huh. So it seems then having “above calendar html” with a link to POST YOUR EVENTS is only alternative?
