ParticipantKaren,
I’m so sorry for the misunderstanding here. I incorrectly assumed that you were using tribe-events.css in your overrides directory, but your latest message clears things up for me. 🙂 Go ahead and try to rename your style overrides CSS file to ‘tribe-events.css’ and that should resolve the issue for you.It looks like you might have already figured this out, since I’m seeing the style overrides on your site now. Again, so sorry for the misunderstanding here, and let me know if I can help further. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantThat’s correct Sean. The code I shared with you will basically prevent the filter-view.css file from loading at all. So, you’ll want to add those styles (along with your customizations) to tribe-events.css to make sure everything looks good.
As with any customization, keep in mind that you’ll need to perform backups and thoroughly test things when updating the plugin, since some of your customizations might not work correctly due to things changing in the codebase.
Give that a shot and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantDaniella,
Would it be possible to send us an export of your database for one of our developers to investigate further? If so, just send a private reply with a link to the file, and I’ll pass it along. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantSean,
It looks like the filter bar styles get enqueued after the override styles, but you should be able to get around that by completely removing the filter bar styles by adding the following to your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/10780176This will completely prevent the Filter Bar styles from being enqueued, so you can specify your own styles. Give that a shot and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantDaniella,
Ok great, that seems to have fixed the tooltip issue. Are you also seeing duplicate events in your WordPress dashboard, or are these duplicates only displaying on the front-end of your site?Casey
ParticipantJeff,
Users can already edit their own previously submitted events by visiting the ‘My Events’ page on the front-end of the site (typically located at http://www.yoursite.com/events/community/list), but they will not be able to edit other users events. They’ll have to use the Dashboard, along with the special permissions that you’ll set up for them.Hope that makes sense! Just let me know if that gets you started in the right direction. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantDaniella,
I’m seeing some other weird behavior on your month view with the tooltips as well. Can you try removing all of your template overrides by renaming the ‘tribe-events’ folder (located in your theme directory) to ‘disabled-tribe-events’. That should allow us to see what your calendar looks like with all customizations removed, so we can see if you might have a customization that is causing the issue? Thanks! 🙂
rockspotclimbing,
If your issue is the same as the above please do feel free to monitor this thread, but if you need assistance for your own specific scenario it would be great if you could create a fresh thread of your own. Thanks!-Casey-
