MemberHi thanks for purchasing our plugin.
I can help you get going on this. We do not have shortcodes as part of the plugin.
There are many options to make your own, but here are two:
Coding Option
You could follow along with in the Get Event Section of this page:https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
And use that to make a shortcode.
Plugin Option
We do have an unofficial plugin called Event Rocket that wraps the Events Calendar widgets into shortcodes. You could check that out as it does have a list view.Let me know if that helps out or you have some more questions.
Thanks

MemberHello,
I can help give you some information on the global filter/function of some sort that will hide “past events” from a query.
Our queries to get events include this:
'eventDisplay' => 'upcoming'That is our argument to only get upcoming events. You can use ‘past’ and ‘all’.
Since that is done in a query it is not used on the Single Events Template.
There are many conditionals to use if you would like to check if an event has passed, here is a good source:
https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/2415009
You could then follow our themer’s guide to make modifications to the single-event template to hide content after the event is over.
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
There is also an unofficial plugin called Event Rocket that cleans up past events if you would like to remove them.
Does that help?
Thanks

MemberThanks for the Interest in our Plugins.
Unfortunately, that is not a feature in any of our current plugins we do not have any real “event management” features beyond sell tickets.
If you would like to request that feature please head to our UserVoice Page and add your own or upvote that feature as they will increase the chances of it being added to a future version.

MemberHi mauiwatch,
Please sign into your account here on tri.be.
Then go to Account Central->License Keys.
On that page find the license from the old domain and click “Disconnect now”.
Then go to your new site and add the license keys there.
Does that work for you?

MemberHi Isaac,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins, I can help answer your questions.
Events Calendar Pro and WooCommerce Tickets Work Together and can be used together. Each plugin brings in it’s own features.
I’d like to create events that can be browsed with the map view, but I want to sell access to them with the WC Tickets plugin.
This is certainly a possibility. The tickets appear on the single view of the events so they can be shown in any of the Pro Views (Map, Photo, etc)
If the event expires, does the listing in EC Pro and the WC product automatically become inactive?
Yes once the event has past the tickets are no longer for sale, but with each ticket you can set a sale period so you can end it before the event actually starts if you like.
New User Primers:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-pro-new-user-primer/
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/wootickets-new-user-primer/
Those two will show you all the features for each plugin.
And here is our demo with with different views and a single event with WooCommerce Tickets:(in the header menu under demo)
Does that answer your question?

MemberHi Adam,
It is possible to remove any content you would like. Removing the Categories or Tags from an events would require some changes to the templates. You can find instructions on how to move and modify templates on our themer’s guide.
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
As for hurting with Google searches we cannot say that is up to you and your site design and what you are trying to appear for in searches.
Does that answer your questions?

MemberHi mocajijic,
I am afraid we do not as the CSV importer does not support sub-categories. It does support multiple categories separated by commas.
If you would like to request that feature please head to our UserVoice Page and add your own or upvote that feature as they will increase the chances of it being added to a future version.

MemberHi Martin,
I just took a look at your site and another person at Tri.be as well and we both were able to view the map and to search for locations.
Can you check to see if it is fixed for you.
Here is the link we used:
http://www.driverlesstransportation.com/events/map
I was able to do three different city searches as well and they all worked.
Please try clearing your browser cache before testing your site just incase something is in there that was from the past that might be causing it not to work.
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks

MemberI am sorry to hear that.
I took a look at your site and saw I was able to view the events, where you able to fix it?
I was going to suggest going to Events->Settings->Display Tab
and changing the “Events template” field to different options and see if any of those would fix the issue.
If that does not help and you would still like help solving this could you reply with the information in the Events->Help->”System Information” box
Let me know and we can try to reproduce the error and help from there.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Here is another filter you can use to remove content from the ical feed.
It was used as a fix for removing certain text the ical description that you could modify to remove the exact content that is being added by the Visual Composer Plugin.
You may have to play around with both of those to get all the spacing how you want it and the shortcodes removed.
Let me know if you have some questions or get stuck with it.
Thanks

MemberHello,
Below are the answers to your questions.
Recurring Events
I apologize if I did not explain recurring events correctly or we have some information on our site that does not explain them enough. The recurring events are not a group of events although they can be, they are intended to be the same event that happens over a regular period of time. So that is how our recurring event system is designed. It has been requested and we are interested in making the recurring events more robust and act as a multiday, but that is currently not how it works. So if you edit a single instance it breaks it out of the recurring event series and becomes independent of them.
So if you would edit the recurring event series after doing a single event edit it would not change that event, but it would the rest of the series.
Once it is broken out of the recurring series it cannot be added back in.
Blog Category
Not sure why the events would be appearing in the blog. Do you have this setting checked in the Events->Settings “Include events in main blog loop”Unchecking that should remove it from the blog. That will not remove events from the home page as you are using a widget there.
Let me know if that helps.

MemberOh, how strange.
That form on the single event is not generated by the Events Calendar so can you please follow the steps in our Testing For Conflict Plugin and see if we can narrow down the source of the problem:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/
Please let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
Thanks
