    Hi,

    I can help out here.

In your theme the path should be:

    yourtheme/tribe-events/wootickets/tickets.php

Let me know if that works for you.

    Thanks

in reply to: Editing A Single Instance of a Recurring Event #964059

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins.

The recurring events do have a feature to edit a single instance of a series.

You can delete the event or make changes to it. If you only make changes to that one event it does break it out of the series though.

There is no feature to black out certain dates so the best bet is to create the series then go and edit the single instance and delete it.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.

I took a look at your site and see what you mean.

It appears the issue is because your theme is using jquery-1.7.2.min.js

While WordPress is currently shipping with jQUery-1.11.2,which is the version we support.

Please update the jQuery version in your theme to the latest version shipped with WordPress to resolve the issue.

    Thanks

I am glad to see you were able to fix this issue.

The list widget should pull in its own styling by itself though. I took a look at your site and it appears it is doing that now, so maybe it was a caching issue?

Anyway since the issue is marked resolved I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugin.

    This is a WordPress Setting.

In your Admin to Settings > General > “Week Starts On”

Change that to Sunday and you will be all set.

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins.

With the Eventbrite plugin you can import any Eventbrite Event you like so you can add more events to your calendar in seconds instead of coping and pasting.

Also, as you mentioned you can register events created in the Events Calendar in Eventbrite from WordPress. Once an event is registered it is connected to that Event in WordPress and it has all the links to take you to Eventbrite to make changes and you can monitor the status of tickets sold from the event in WordPress. As this screenshot shows:

    Thanks

    Hi Spencer,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

However, we do not have a shortcode to display a venue.

The only shortcode we have right now is the Mini Calendar Shortcode.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can help answer your questions.

    See my responses below:

    1. We want to use the calendar as the Master calendar for the church, which means it will include both public (to be published) and private (for certain users only) events. Is this feature possible?

We do not have a public or private calendar feature. You maybe to mark events as private and they would only show if logged in, but that is all we have for this. You can use the Event Categories to show a view(month, list, etc) with just those events, that is built into the system. We do not have a method to change between category calendars like iCal does, but you could add links yourself to each category view.

You can test both of these out on the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

    2. I need for people to be able to submit events. I see that this is possible with the Community add-on. I think this is fairly straight-forward.

    Correct, Community Events handles this.

    3. The Filter Bar add-on looks nice, but is there the functionality to Search the calendar by Category without the Filter Bar add-on? Does the filter have the capability to switch between Public and Private calendars (assuming the person is logged in and has privilege to see the Private calendar)?

The default search bar has a keyword, location, and date search. The filter bar does not recognize a private calendar as we do not have that feature.

    4. I see that you do not offer assistance to religious organizations (bummer), but we do have a financial concern, so I want to understand the on-going fees. Can you tell me how much the renewal of the $89 single site license will cost? This will help determine if we are able to use the Modern Tribe products.

Currently, renewals are 30% off the full license.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having.

Unfortunately, our plugin and WPML do not work together all the time and there are issues that come up such as this and we do not have a fix for them.

We are looking to make our plugin work better with WPML, but it is a rather big change and we do not have a timeline when that might happen.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

By default event rss feeds should order by Event Start with the closest start date first.

Do you have this function in your theme’s functions.php to reorder the events:

    remove_filter( ‘posts_orderby’, array( ‘TribeEventsQuery’, ‘posts_orderby’ ), 10, 2 );

That would cause what you are seeing.

Also, each Event Category has its own feed as well. So if you have an Event Category call Lettuce you feed url would be this:

    http://yoursite.com/events/category/lettuce/feed/

Let me know what you find out about that coding.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins I can answer your question.

If I renew, say several months after first expring date, will the licence/support/updates start from the new date or from the first renewal date?

If you renew later then the date the license expires it will renew from the actual date of renewal. So if it expires on the 5th of the month and you renew on the 20th, the new term begins on the 20th.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks
