Editing A Single Instance of a Recurring Event

I’m thinking about purchasing the Pro Version of the plugin. We have events that recur on a weekly or monthly basis. Sometimes though, one of those instances will be cancelled. So say we have an Awesome Meeting every Wednesday for weeks and weeks, but Wednesday August 27th, it’s not going to happen. Would we need to create 2 event series (one that ends the week before August 27th, and one that starts the week after) or can we exclude certain dates from the series without changing the whole series?

Thanks for the interest in our plugins.

The recurring events do have a feature to edit a single instance of a series.

You can delete the event or make changes to it. If you only make changes to that one event it does break it out of the series though.

There is no feature to black out certain dates so the best bet is to create the series then go and edit the single instance and delete it.
