MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugin.
It appears that site you linked to has manually created all their events and did not import them from Eventbrite.
Does that answer your question?
Cheers

MemberHi,
Thanks for using Pro.
I can help out here.
Do you have a link where the widget is active and I can make some suggestions?
Let me know.
Thanks

MemberOk great, glad it resolves the problem.
A weird other issue here was that the WooCommerce Tickets add-on hides the Cost field so it took us a while to remove the value (I hadn’t resorted to going straight into the DB yet but was heading there). That’s another point of confusion.
Yeah I can see how that can be confusing.
In the future there is this article that has a snippet to always show that field:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/use-the-event-cost-field-with-tickets-installed/
I can say that just in my experience, I see people do all sorts of stuff with that field including ranges, phrases, etc., so some more aggressive validation and sanitizing of that field seems in order. A way to support cost ranges would certainly be useful.
Agreed, in my bug report I mentioned we need to have better validation to not cause this issue and a cost range would be nice too.
Thanks for helping out with the testing on this and in the 3.10 beta.

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins.
You can see all the filters we have through the Filter Bar and The Events Calendar on this Page:
How Can I have a search / filter bar that allows visitors to search by country, city, category and date etc.?
Since we do not provide these as features the only way would be to create a custom solution yourself. Unfortunately, that is beyond the support we can provide.
We are working on an article to help with this customization, but I do not have a timeline when it might be released.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi Carlo,
Thanks for using the Events Calendar.
There is no feature to display two views on one page.
You maybe to follow our themer’s guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
To make this customization, but we are limited in helping much more beyond that.
One idea is to modify the month view and use a shortcode from the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has shortcodes in it to display a list view:
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
That is a good looking site.
It looks like they are using a custom solution to display events like that.
If you are looking for a shortcode to display events there is the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has shortcodes in it:
That might get the events there and then you could style it the way you would like.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
We follow exactly how WooCommerce does VAT and was recently tested to make sure for the ticketing fields.
I would verify your settings on this page for the VAT tax:
WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Tax Options > Price Display Suffix:
As both our plugin and WooCommerce display the vat tax based on what is set there.
However, the Cost Field on the top does not take into account VAT.
This css though can hide the cost fields so at least the pricing is only shown on the ticketing form:
https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/da328834398b37a646a8
Add that css to your theme’s stylesheet or through a plugin such as Simple Custom CSS.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks

MemberHi Finn,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. Currently Community Events and our Ticketing plugins do not work together to create tickets for events on the front end.
If you would like to request that feature please head to our UserVoice Page and add your own or upvote that feature as they will increase the chances of it being added to a future version.

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I have answered your questions below:
(1) We have at least 3 fee-types (one price for members, one price for non-members, and one price for staff in member firms).
You can create three different tickets for each price level, but by default all three would show on the event and they have individual stock
(2) Sometimes we give out coupons/vouchers, in which the attendee will use the coupon code to register for the program for free. We have our own codes for the coupons/vouchers we give out. So the person will have to enter that coupon code, and then his/her cart should show “Free” or zero cost somehow.
The tickets are products in WooCommerce so any coupon setup in WooCommerce can work on the ticket. And Free or zero dollar tickets do work.
(3) We also need a way for the attendees who are registering to select the food entree they want (e.g., meat or veggie meal).
We currently do not have this as a feature.
(4) And, we need to be able to compile an Attendee list for each program, which shows Attendee name, email, whether they have paid or will be paying at the door, plus which meal they selected (preferably Excel compatible).
We have features that get close to this, but not quite there yet as we do not have a way to add custom data like the food entrée.
We do have a beta of our new ticketing solution in the next couple of weeks. That does have the ability to collect information like a food entrée.
If you are interested in trying that please email us at [email protected]
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian
MemberJust seemed strange that a single add-on costs the same as the Pro version.
For sure, I thought so as well, but that is how Modern Tribe has priced it.
I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.
Thanks

MemberHello,
It appears there is a conflict with the List view and content not displaying.
If you would like to resolve this please follow our testing for conflicts guide and see if that reveals the cause of this issue:
I would like to diplay event in list by category, for exemple : “Our last concerts”
There is a category list view and you could link to the past events view, but there is no direct way to make this page in our plugin.
However, there is the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has shortcodes in it:
With those shortcodes you maybe to create a Our last concerts page the way you would like it.
Cheers

MemberHi,
If it was my site I would have the backslash on the end. Not sure if there was a reason it was left off though.
By header and footer I simply meant above and below the month view.
Brian
MemberOk, glad you found a work around. If you run into trouble in the future I would recommend following those two guides and see if that can narrow down a source.
Since this is marked resolved I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
Yep that is correct you have to buy both to get filters and map view.
