    Hi George,

    yes, all the other users who can submit Events that end up published are “subscribers”.

    Hi Hunter,

    thank you for your quick reply.

    I have a challenge to deactivate the plug-ins as the site is in production and quite frequently visited.

    A strange discovery, when using the web browser Safari it all looks great. But with Google Chrome och Firefox it does not look okay. Isn’t that weird?

    You were right! I made a backup and noticed that I had two files (single-event.php and tribe-events.css) directly under the /tribe-events folder in my themes folder as well as two sub-folders named /list and /pro.

    I deleted the two files that were directly under the /tribe-events folder and then it worked!

    Hi again!

    Think I have to correct one of my answers. It was such a long time since I worked with all this and it has worked so smoothly so I have not had to do a lot of hands-on. 🙂

    2. I do have custom Event templates in my Themes folder.

    1. I am not sure. Maybe the last update of ECP and Community Events. But I unfortunately updated quickly without verifying.

    2. I don’t think I have.

    3. Activating the theme Twenty Fourteen makes the Google Map and other information appear again.

    Hi again!

    I solved it myself. 🙂
    I FTP’ed to my site, renamed the “the-events-calendar” to “the-events-calendar_old” and then tried to upload and install the Events Calendar again.

    This solved it!

    I was able to activate ECP and Community Events too! *phew*

    Thank you Casey for taking time to reply!
    I had completely forgotten that I had done an override. I deleted the override and then it worked perfect! 🙂

    But, now I am back in the situation to why I did an override.
    The Event Titles in the Event List are very big in the font size. How shall I in the new versions fix so that the Font Size for the Event Title is a bit smaller?

    Thank you so much for taking the time to answer!
    Reading through your response, I get the feeling and impression that I might be using the plugin in a way which it is not intended to be used. Maybe this is the reason why I have encountered these issues. 🙂

    I think that what I actually am looking for, is an Event registration system, where users/attendees first registers, then there would be a ticketing system as a second step that provides tickets. In a way, it could actually be seen as one whole solution in a ticketing system, but then such system (plugin) would need to function in a way where parts of an “order” would be impacted by a cancellation (refunded) ticket in that order.

    I’ll look into posting a feature request. 🙂

    I found the solution!
    There was a “manual/test” checkbox that one could check that would make it all just run through as I wanted.
    This can be closed! 😉
