Upgraded Events Calendar to v3.10.1 then it disappeared

Hi,

I am in urgent need of help!

I logged in to my WordPress admin site and noticed that for Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro there was an update to version 3.10.1. I had version 3.10 already installed.

Clicked the update now link for the Events Calendar and after it was done updating (saying update complete).
I got error messages that Events Calendar Pro had to be updated too.

I deactivated ECP and deleted it. Downloaded the new version 3.10.1 and installed that one. But I got error message that I had to install the latest version of Events Calendar.

When I checked the list of installed plugins, the Events Calendar was gone!!?

I downloaded the Events Calendar from WordPress.org and uploaded and installed it, but got an error message.

Now I am sitting duck here and need urgent help!

Hi again!

I solved it myself. 🙂
I FTP’ed to my site, renamed the “the-events-calendar” to “the-events-calendar_old” and then tried to upload and install the Events Calendar again.

This solved it!

I was able to activate ECP and Community Events too! *phew*
