ParticipantHi,
today I upgraded ECP, Communicty Events, and EDD Ticket to version 3.6. Of course the The Event Calendar core to 3.6 too.
I noticed that the Event List that we’ve been using do not show any Events any longer.Something I have done wrong or forgot to read before upgrading? 🙂
Thank you in advance for support!
Sincerely,

ParticipantI have the same issue with the ECP event list widget. If a category filter is set then the widget shows events, if no filter is set then it does not show events. I was able to resolve this by setting filters for each category, but I would prefer to not have any filters set and have the list show all events from all categories.

Participantbodin,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m noticing that you have a template override directory (‘tribe-events’) in your theme folder. If you’re overriding the List Widget template file, then you’ll need to make sure you update the template file to the latest version as the list widget has changed a bit in version 3.6 (read more here).Give that a try and let me know if that helps the issue. Thanks! 🙂
levymarketing,
If your issue is the same as the above please do feel free to monitor this thread, but if you need assistance for your own specific scenario it would be great if you could create a fresh thread of your own. Thanks!-Casey-

ParticipantHi. I have a similar issue. After upgrade to 3.6 of Event Calendar and Event Calendar Pro, my Event widgets simply say “No Upcoming Events”. The widget is in the footer, located at http://cis.ccsnc.org/ and the calendar is located at http://cms.ccsnc.org/calendar/.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ParticipantSo, I’m going to post my own answer :-). Seems if you delete the widget and add it back, it will show the upcoming events correctly. Thanks!

ParticipantI can confirm what stevenforehand says, that deleting the old widget and adding it back in with no filters indeed shows all events again.
Thanks!!!June 4, 2014 at 1:13 am #203134bodin
ParticipantThank you Casey for taking time to reply!
I had completely forgotten that I had done an override. I deleted the override and then it worked perfect! 🙂But, now I am back in the situation to why I did an override.
The Event Titles in the Event List are very big in the font size. How shall I in the new versions fix so that the Font Size for the Event Title is a bit smaller?Many thanks!

ParticipantAndreas,
Using our instructions in the themer’s guide, you can override CSS styles by creating a tribe-events.css file and adding the following style rule to it:
li.tribe-events-adv-list-widget .entry-title a {
font-size:18px;
}
Feel free to change that font-size to whatever you’d prefer, but hopefully that should do the trick. Thanks! 🙂
