    Hi, talanithus. Great question! πŸ™‚

This isn’t something that’s currently baked in, and I’m not really sure about snippet’s working with the 2.x versions. That said,Β you could try modifing the following example, which hides events based on the current users role, to hide events from the widget based on their published state.Β http://pastebin.com/JyePZWpt

    Hope that helps!

    Hi, Jonathan. Great question! πŸ™‚

This thread pretty much covers it.Β Basically, you could craft something using Additional Field functionality, but that would be the kind of customization that would be out of the scope of this support forum.

This is definitely something we’ve heard requests for in the past, but I don’t think it’s ever been suggested in our User Voice forum. We’d be grateful if you would bring it up there so we can gauge community demand for it.

    Thanks!

    Hi, irishrunner16. Great question! πŸ™‚

In my experience, events with different titles, but the same venue and/or organizer will import successfully, assuming you’re importing into the event list. For imports into the Venue or Organizer lists, each entry needs a unique name.

Is it possible that the entries are failing because of duplicate event names?

Hi, Nick. Thanks for the follow-up! πŸ™‚

If you want to explicitly unset the final $view_options array after that snippet runs, you certainly can, but it will go out of scope not long after and be cleaned up automatically anyway.

So, I guess you can look at the snippet as a starting point. You’re welcome (and encouraged!) to add extra code to clean up after it, but it isn’t strictly necessary. πŸ™‚

    Hope that helps!

Hi, rene. Updates for the latest versions of all plugins should appear by default on your WordPress installation.

If they don’t, you can access free plugins from the WordPress repo. Our premium plugins are always available from your downloads page on our site:Β https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/

    Hope that helps! πŸ™‚

Hi, alexhammerstein. It sounds like what we’re looking at is some kind of caching issue then. All of the events in the month view are showing in chronological order in my browser.

Not to overstate the obvious, but have you tried things like deleting your browser’s cache?

Hi, mandr. It turns out, upon further research, there is something you can do.

Basically, you’ll want to start out making a template override of the bar.php file. If you haven’t done one of these before, you’ll want to check out our Themer’s Guide, linked in the sidebar.

Once you’re comfortable with that, you’ll want to look into adding a snippet right after line 19 where it says

    $views Β  = tribe_events_get_views();"

Here’s an example of the code you’d need:Β http://pastebin.com/qtuKcN6z You’ll just want to change “Super Month View” to “Calendar” and remove the line about the List entirely (for your scenario).

Please give that a shot and let me know how it goes! πŸ™‚

Hi, John. Sorry to hear that you don’t think that TEC will work for you.

We deal with refunds via email. Please send a note along with your receipt and a link to this thread to [email protected].

Out of curiosity, is there anything we could have done differently to make our plugin more valuable for you?

    Thanks!

    Hi, mandr. Great question! πŸ™‚

It’s certainly possible to change that word using a translation, but that would affect all instances of the word wherever it’s translatable. Because of the way that it’s called, I’m afraid it wouldn’t be easy to change it there, and there alone.

Sorry I don’t have better news for you. Is there anything else that I can help you with?

    Hi, lejazz. Great question! πŸ™‚

Because the attendee list is accessed via the event editing page, I believe that the user will need most of the event editing permissions. On the other hand, we don’t have anything specifically configured for it, so I’m not sure.

You can find a complete list of functions we support for creating custom roles here. That should get you on the right track.

Please let us know how it goes!

    Hi, btellock. Great question! πŸ™‚

While tooltips do appear on the Month View of the calendar page, they are not implemented as part of the mini-calendar widget. I’m sorry if there was confusion about that.

Is there anything else I can help you with?
