ParticipantHi, mikebrenner. Great question! ๐
Unfortunately, there’s no way out of the box to enable something like this. While it would absolutely be possible to write something to make this happen, it would require customization on your part.
On the other hand, it’s a great suggestion! ๐ We’d be very grateful if you’d offer it over at our User Voice forum, that way we can gauge community interest in adding it as a feature.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, webster. Great question! ๐
I would suggest that the easiest way to make this happen is by harnessing the power of the built-in RSS feed. Here’s a tutorial on how you can customize it to suit your needs.ย From there, any of the services that do RSS-to-email should be able to make the subscription a reality for your users.
Please give that a shot and let us know how it goes!

ParticipantHi, jrucker. Great question! ๐
Unfortunately, there is not currently a widget for searching through the calendar. The Tribe Bar is great for searching through the calendar though. Is there some specific functionality that you’re looking to implement?

ParticipantHi, Peter. Thanks again for your excellent query. It turns out that this is something that I was personally unclear on, so I learned more about the product as a result of your inquiry. Bonus! ๐
Anyhow, the upshot is that the “Default currency symbol” setting is only used for presetting the symbol for existing events. Once an event is created, the currency symbol is set at the Event Editing screen and unaffected by changes to theย Default currency symbol field in Settings. The rationale here is that for one site, it may be that you have events for which the cost is set in different currencies, e.g. if you were hosting anย event in the Republic of Ireland (and using Euros), you might also have a sister event across the line in the UK (and use pounds sterling).
I’m sorry that it was so unintuitive. I will definitely make a note that we need to clarify the behavior so that other users don’t experience the same issue.
All that said, please remove the snippets and try changing the currency symbol in your existing events. New events will respect the Default currency symbol setting that existed at the time of their creation.
Thanks! ๐

ParticipantHi, rene. Great question! ๐
I just went through and placed a test order on your site. After checkout, I did see the 404 screen that you describe:ย https://cloudup.com/cZQzGna99j2
Since the 404 isn’t coming up until after you’re well into WooCommerce territory (rather than TEC/WooCommerce Tickets), I’m afraid, we’re not the best folks to help you out. From what I can tell everything is working properly with your WooCommerce Tickets installation.
At this point, your best bet would be to check out the WooThemes forums to see if there are any other folks that are reporting this kind of 404 after checkout.
As an aside, we just released today a hotfix to version 3.4 of WooCommerce Tickets that improves integration with WooCommerce 2.1.x. It might be worth upgrading to the latest versions of both to see if that helps. ๐
Please let us know how it goes!

ParticipantHi, Jamie. I definitely see what you’re talking about.
Unfortunately, we don’t have our menu bar set up to continuously stay in the “Past Events” view.ย If you use a specific month, it will continue to respect that, but that would definitely require a significant amount of customization to take advantage of.
If this is something that you think should be built-in, we’d be very grateful if you’d make a suggestion in our User Voice Forum. We prioritize features based on the response they receive from our user community there.
Thanks! ๐

ParticipantHi, alexhammerstein. Thanks for uploading your site. That’s very useful. ๐
As far as I see, in your default view, all the events are showing in the correct order. Would you mind letting me know a specific day and view where you’re seeing the behavior?

Participant… and that said, version 3.4.1 of WooCommerce Tickets is released! Please give it a go and let us know what you think.
Thanks again, ivideoweb!

ParticipantHi, ivideoweb. I just wanted to follow-up with you on this. ๐
First, thank you again so much for bringing this to our attention. You’re absolutely right that this is something we should have caught proactively, and we’re working on putting systems in place to prevent a recurrence.
Progress is going well on a hotfix, and we expect to have it out in the wild very, very soon. I’ll be sure to post another update when that happens. ๐

ParticipantHi, sbrinley. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We had a higher than usual thread volume over the weekend and it’s set us back a bit in response time.
This is definitely something that you could make happen using a template override of the tickets.php file. Please check out our Themer’s Guide, linked in the sidebar, for complete details on how to make that happen, if you’re not already familiar. Then, you can check out this example of one way to do it:ย http://pastebin.com/rX1SYDsc
The addition of the inventory and count are in lines 92-94. Please play around with it and let me know if that does the trick!
Thanks again for your patience! ๐

ParticipantSorry about that, eastportphotography. Thanks for letting us know that you were able to resolve it on your own! ๐
February 24, 2014 at 7:31 pm in reply to: Eventbrite tickets not appearing on my website!!!! #108985Kelly
ParticipantHi, Heather! Eventbrite did a silent update to their API at the end of last month that broke the iFrame, but it should be fixed in the latest version. Would you mind updating all your Modern Tribe plugins and checking again?
Thanks! ๐

ParticipantHi, Elizabeth. Great question! ๐
I’m afraid that with breadcrumbs, there are so many different way to make them happen, that your theme developer is probably the best person to answer that one. Would you mind bringing it up to them and letting us know what they say? If there’s something we’re doing that’s different from how it should be, we’re eager to make it right!
Thanks so much!

ParticipantHi, efromdc. Great question! ๐
Unfortunately, our URL paths are not really something that can be edited by users. If this is a feature that you’d like to see implemented, we’d be very grateful if you’d suggest it on our UserVoice forum. We prioritize new features based on the response from our user community there.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, Jamie. Great question! ๐
The syntax for looking at past events in a certain view is a little less pretty than that. It should be something like:
http://yoursite.com/events/photo/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past
Please give that a go, and let me know if that does the trick! ๐
