https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/calendar-view-urls/ outlines what the URLs are for list, month, photo, etc. All are accessible via the menu bar when starting from /events/. However I am having issues getting all to display or work with menu for past events. Examples of actions attempted, behaviour expected and actual result all relating to past events:
Action 1 – Go to /events/past
Expected 1 – Taken to photo view of past events (Photo is default view in settings)
Actual 1 – Taken to past events in list view as /events/past/Action 2 – From /events/past in list view click on photo view from menu bar
Expected 2 – Taken to photo view of past events
Actual 2 – Taken to upcoming events in photo view and /events/photo/Action 3 – Go via URL to /events/past/photo/ URL
Expected 3 – Taken to photo view of past events
Actual 3 – Taken to list view of past eventsFebruary 24, 2014 at 7:08 pm #108970KellyParticipantHi, Jamie. Great question! 🙂
The syntax for looking at past events in a certain view is a little less pretty than that. It should be something like:
http://yoursite.com/events/photo/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past
Please give that a go, and let me know if that does the trick! 🙂

Re-phrasing that as a question:
If I start out at http://yoursite.com/events/photo/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past how can I ensure that use of the view as menu bar options keeps the user viewing past events?February 25, 2014 at 1:14 pm #109272KellyParticipantHi, Jamie. I definitely see what you’re talking about.
Unfortunately, we don’t have our menu bar set up to continuously stay in the “Past Events” view. If you use a specific month, it will continue to respect that, but that would definitely require a significant amount of customization to take advantage of.
If this is something that you think should be built-in, we’d be very grateful if you’d make a suggestion in our User Voice Forum. We prioritize features based on the response they receive from our user community there.
Thanks! 🙂
