MemberThanks Roberto. This seems to work for me when I test it – you can see a screenshot of the calendar page here – and it does so whether I use the Default Events Template or the Default Page Template.
Perhaps the problem is localized to your installation somehow?

MemberYou cannot deactivate The Events Calendar or WooTickets will not be able to run.
If you can check out the Javascript console and/or if you can try to locate your server error log (you may need to seek help from your web host if you are unsure about this) and see if there are any entries that correspond by date and time to this problem then that would be great.

MemberHi Christina – you would need to override and change three templates to do this. So, before you get started, please take the time to read our Themer’s Guide.
Essentially though you would create a folder called events and within that another folder called community – both of these would be nested under your theme folder.
Please then try out this revised events-meta-box.php template, this revised venue-meta-box.php template and also this revised organizer-meta-box.php template.
Does that help here?

MemberExcellent (and thanks for helping out there Andy) … Christina are you all sorted on this one?

MemberRegarding the forums being open, we feel this style of open support forum can be really helpful to others researching similar problems and also shows a large degree of transparency – yet can still be used to communicate privately when that is necessary.
After outlining the initial problem private replies can then be made – as you discovered – and other fields such as your site URL can also be shared when the thread is created and that will not be publicly exposed either.
I hope that better explains our position on that front and that it doesn’t pose too great an obstacle – but if you have further concerns please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Thanks!

MemberHi Nathan,
I’m sorry you are experiencing difficulties with this.
If you have indeed run out of installations then you can manage this by visiting our Account Central > License Keys page – simply disconnect those domains that are no longer in use.
If you only have a single-site license and the domain appears to be correct then try removing your license key on your site (in Settings > Licenses) as well as via our License Keys page here at tri.be, save the changes and try re-entering.
One other consideration is that your license key may have expired. So if it has been 12 months or more since you made the purchase you would have to renew first of all.
Last but not least, you can still upgrade manually – by downloading the latest copy of The Events Calendar from wordpress.org and you can download Events Calendar PRO from Accounts Central > Downloads and update that way, should the above steps fail.
Let me know if you have further difficulties in that regard.

MemberExcellent – glad you arrived at a solution 🙂

Member… Haven’t seen your email so far (no worries if you didn’t get round to sending it – but I thought I would give you a heads up in case it disappeared into the void).

MemberIf they work correctly with the default events template, for instance, then yeah you could simply customize that as needed to make it fit with your theme. Is that something that works for you?

MemberOK, all rather bizarre.
I’m afraid I can’t replicate using those templates alone – which suggests the problem may be elsewhere.
What actually seems to be happening is the second set of calendar buttons are being included as part of the first event post – which is a little bizarre.
Are there any other changes you made relating to The Events Calendar I should be aware of (perhaps in your functions.php file) and does this occur only with your customized theme (ie, if all other plugins except for The Events Calendar are deactivated)?

MemberOK, well that seems to be in order. If Events > Settings > Template is set up to use the Default Events Template can you share your ecp-page-template.php file?

MemberCan you share your list.php template via a service like Pastebin (pasting code directly into the forum does not unfortunately work very well at present)?

MemberOK – well great that the initial problem is solved. Just to keep things clean and tidy can I ask you to create a new thread for this new problem (and definitely link back to this thread if that helps to give some context)?
Otherwise things have a tendency to get a little confused, especially if someone else jumps in to the thread to discuss their own version of the original problem 🙂
Barry
MemberGreat – since it sounds like you’re all good I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Of course feel free to create new threads as and when needed 🙂
Barry
MemberExcellent, bear with me and I’ll take a look as soon as I get a chance.
