Just setup the plugin and when I add the ticket information to the first event, the system hangs up and just displays the loading icon.
May 15, 2013 at 6:44 am #48570BarryMemberHi mantrafit, I’m not sure why that would be but it does rather sound like a conflict with another plugin or perhaps your theme. Can you try running through our standard troubleshooting steps?
- Please ensure that your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in-synch … for instance if you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 you must also use Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11
- Deactivate all other plugins and change your theme to a default, unmodified one such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve
- Now test to see if the problem still exists
- If the problem has been solved by these steps, start reactivating everything one-at-a-time, testing at each point to see if the issue has returned
- If the issue does return, take note of whichever plugin (or theme) you reactivated immediately before it started again – it’s likely there is a conflict with this item
May 19, 2013 at 8:34 am #48981mantrafitParticipantWe have done the standard troubleshooting as you outlined and are still having the error. What’s next?
May 20, 2013 at 6:51 am #49009BarryMemberWhich version of WooCommerce are you using? Also, to clarify the above steps – if you happened to have any WooCommerce add-ons then they too would need to have been deactivated (the best test case here being a default, unmodified theme plus WooTickets, WooCommerce and The Events Calendar running).
Are you familiar with your browser’s developer tools and are you comfortable looking at and monitoring the Javascript console to see if anything of interest is being reported there?
Do you/have you previously installed any security plugins that ‘lock down’ WordPress?
May 22, 2013 at 5:17 am #49317mantrafitParticipantWe have WooCommerce 2.0.10. We also have Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro activated. Can we deactivate Events Calendar? No Security Plugins are installed. I will look into the javascript console.
May 22, 2013 at 6:16 am #49331BarryMemberYou cannot deactivate The Events Calendar or WooTickets will not be able to run.
If you can check out the Javascript console and/or if you can try to locate your server error log (you may need to seek help from your web host if you are unsure about this) and see if there are any entries that correspond by date and time to this problem then that would be great.
May 28, 2013 at 10:20 am #49972BarryMemberHi! Do you need any further help here?
