MemberSure, well if you could either email a .zip of the theme to us, or provide a download link, we can take a quick look (though I can’t make any promises about fixing it, I might be able to offer a suggestion).

MemberHi Jeff – remember that you would also need to make sure the term_taxonomy table is referenced from your FROM clause or a JOIN clause (probably a JOIN clause in this case).
I’m afraid we can’t spend too much time on custom work like this, however. Building bespoke functionality and customizing the calendar in new and exciting ways is of course your job – but I do wish you luck and it would be great to see your final solution 🙂
Barry
MemberSure – take a look at the following thread:
It’s relevant because you have an older version of jQuery running on your site; there may also be another Javascript related problem at play here so I’d suggest running through our complete troubleshooting steps:
1. Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve.
2. Please also deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO – and make sure both of those are at version 2.0.11 (you can check this by visiting the Plugins admin page).
3. Now visit your calendar page and see if the problem has been fixed.
4. Assuming it has, please reactivate each plugin and then your theme one-at-a-time, testing every time you reactivate something to see if the problem has returned.
This, hopefully, will isolate the problem to either your theme or one of your plugins (or perhaps a combination of some of those) and we can then take things from there.
Barry
MemberOK – and have you looked at the advice given in our FAQs for when themes look slightly ‘funky’?
https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/the-plugin-looks-funky-on-my-theme-what-gives/
It may be that you need to either edit one of your theme’s existing templates, or override and customize the default events template – in which case you will probably also be interested in our Themer’s Guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
Barry
MemberSure, I can appreciate that. To give some background though the idea was to base the calendar’s functionality on industry standards, including the behaviour of popular solutions like Google Calendar.
It’s a valid idea though and may very well have already been added as a feature request over on our UserVoice page – so feel free to add your support (or even add a new request if you can’t find that one): https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas
Since this would require fairly substantial and probably non-backward compatible changes though I wouldn’t envision it becoming a reality in the forseeable future.
Am I at least able to duplicate events so that I can get all the same info copied into a new event?
Not with our plugin alone, but I believe there may be a handy post duplicator plugin available over at wordpress.org/plugins that you could use for this.
Barry
MemberThe short answer is that you cannot.
You can “break” a chain of events in two, however, by making a change and applying to all. What actually happens here is that the change is applied to the event you are editing and all future instances of the same event, any events in the pattern before this point are left unchanged.
That aside, it isn’t currently possible to modify single event descriptions or other attributes within a chain of recurring events, I’m afraid.
Barry
MemberIt’s difficult to say from those snippets alone and it could indeed result from activity happening upstream of those (ie, within a filter call).
When you opened the thread you noted that you had tried deactivating other plugins and switching to a default theme. Did you experience the same thing at that point or, if not, were you able to isolate this to a specific component (such as your theme)?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberNo problem, great you figured it out – and, in that case, I’ll close the thread 🙂
Barry
MemberHi!
You may need to share your code by sharing a link to a snippet on Pastebin, Gist or similar – code doesn’t really show up nicely in this forum, unfortunately.
Barry
MemberThat’s probably possible but it isn’t a customization we can help you with, I’m afraid.
In most cases it would not be advisable to ship a product (or send/link to a virtual product) until payment is captured. That won’t necessarily be the case earlier on in the process, which is why it waits until the order complete email.
You could certainly log a feature request for this over on UserVoice – others can then show their support and the dev team can make their assessment.
My own concern would be that this is simply the wrong way to approach the problem (at least for most people) but that isn’t to say it doesn’t make sense for you, in which case you are certainly free to customize away 🙂

MemberSince there isn’t much more we can offer here I’m going to close this thread. If you do have any other questions on this or other aspectes of WooTickets please just create a new thread.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi! How did you get on with this? Any closer to finding the solution?
Barry
MemberHi Grig – did you need further help here? I’m not sure there is too much more we can offer but let me know if you think there might be.
