Community Events + Genesis = problem with extra loops

Hi there,
I’ve noticed that there was already a discussion about this problem, but I wasn’t happy w/ the fix discussed.
So, I created an updated page.php file that you can add in your child theme, which removes most of the page elements that might be introducing additional loops through the use of featured post/page widgets, such as the right-hand header widgets and sidebars. Eventually Modern Tribe will fix this problem, but, in the meantime, this might help preserve some of the hairs on your head.
