    Hi hlchia,

I’d love to explore that with you but unfortunately that is the sort of customization that we can’t really help too much with, beyond pointing you to our themer’s guide and technical documentation (links for both of those are on the right, under Useful Resources).

Having looked over those resources, if you still have questions of a more specific variety then definitely let us know and if we can prod you in the right direction then we will happily do so 🙂

    Hi momodern,

It’s difficult to answer questions like this without knowing exactly what’s going on “under the hood”, as it were.

Do you feel comfortable working with MySQL, either by the command line or with a graphical tool like phpMyAdmin? If so can you take a look at the post table using a query like:

    SELECT * FROM wp_posts WHERE post_type = ‘tribe_events’;

(You may need to change wp_ to something else if your installation uses a non-default prefix.)

It would be interesting to know:

    * How many posts (rows) are actually returned
    * What the post status of those entries are

    Hi Fernando,

That’s a lot of issues and it will be confusing to deal with them all in a single thread. If you are happy to do so, let’s start by tackling the first issue here – you can then create new threads for the subsequent problems.

The minicalendar widget in the footer área is not been shown properly because the left and right arrows are appearing in the wrong position.

The basic problem here is that it’s simply being crammed into too small a space.

Can you either relocate it or rejig your widget area to provide it with more space? Alternatively we can probably work around this by adding some new CSS rules (in which case, please do take the time to familiarize yourself with our themer’s guide first of all).

    Hi Lee,

I took a look at your site and found the event dated July 12; it does seem to show some amount of meta data but is missing items like related posts.

Is that what you are referring to by the missing meta data? If so, have you customized anything here?

Hi guys, thanks for your patience. One of the devs is looking into this and – hopefully – we’ll be pushing out a maintenance release to address points like this shortly. Stay tuned!

    Hi Debbie,

Sorry for the extended gap without input from the team … can I ask if you still need help on this one?

No problem – and definitely feel free to use our UserVoice page if you want to post this or any other feature requests:

Hi again, apologies for not getting back to you yesterday.

I’m still waiting on feedback from the developers on this one: the release of 3.0 has caused something of a surge in demand so that is, regrettably, making it harder to deliver support as normal – but bear with us and we’ll update you as quickly as we can.

Thanks Tim – that rather confirms that this is pretty specific to Chrome (it seems not to affect Chromium, even, which Chrome is essentially built on) and I’ll pass that on to the dev team – though I believe they are already on top of this.

The main thing is you can workaround it in the interim – and we’ll do our best to push out a fix as swiftly as possible.

    Hi Ben,

Where are you using this? As of WooTickets 3.0 there should be no need to use that … can you confirm that you are also using The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO 3.0?

Also, if this is in relation to some customizations you’ll probably want to review our updated Themer’s Guide (link on the right, under Useful Resources).

Yeah I mean what I’d say (about Woo Ninjas not supporting third party plugins – which is fair enough) is to remember that a ticket is, after all, a simple and virtual product.

So while there’s no harm in giving them the context (that you are using WooTickets) really this could be a quite general, non-WooTickets specific question: “I want my virtual products to be immediately marked as complete. How do I do this?”

    Hi Dipesh,

To make Canada the default country simply login, visit Events > Settings > Default Content and set things up there. Note that right now some default fields, such as the city, may not work as expected.

That’s a known bug with a fix in the works, I believe, so you could definitely set it up anyway and then await the next update: we’re likely to have a further release to catch some bugs like this in approximately a weeks time, if all goes to plan.

No – it’s not a bug, that’s exactly as it should be.

Tickets are now created as virtual products – that is the best fit since tickets are neither downloadable products nor (in a WooTickets context) are they normally physically shipped to the recipient.

So this is just a starting point really, but could you try adding this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file?

    Thanks!

    Hi Marlies,

The post you referred to relates to WooTickets 1.0.x and of course we are now on WooTickets 3.0 – so it could be that approach is no longer valid.

Bear with me while I take a look.
