MemberCool beans, if there is anything else just create new threads as needed.
Barry
MemberSorry to hear that – a number of things have changed as of 3.0 won’t carry over without modification.
As things progress with 3.0 and the community at large – as well as the support team – build up a further body of knowledge it will doubtless become easier to transition.
As an aside, if you (or anyone else reading this) does need a historical version then please simply email us at pro (at) tri (dot) be with a brief explanation and one of the team will be happy to help.

Indeed that’s probably the case and we’re looking into that right now – but it’s definitely well worth trying Andy’s plugin in the meantime.
Thanks!

MemberHi guys, that is indeed a bug (if you are referring to the Events Calendar PRO settings link in the plugin management screen only).
It will be corrected in the next release, in the meantime you should be able to access the settings via the Events > Settings admin menu entry (PRO shares the same settings screen as the core The Events Calendar plugin).
Does that help?

MemberHi brewprofessor,
Your site is trying to use the old resources/events.css stylesheet however that no longer exists. I note that you are using a caching plugin: perhaps you need to flush the cache so it can rebuild the pages with links to the new stylesheet and Javascript resources?
Barry
MemberHi Flaviarusso, is this in conjunction with the same issue you have reported in existing threads, or is this something else?

MemberHi!
The forum does indeed have some issues when it comes to sharing code, the best advice I can offer on that front is to use a service such as Pastebin or Gist and paste the link in here.
It sounds though like you are pretty much sorted with regards to the main problem?
Barry
MemberHi Neil,
Are you using any sitemap/SEO tools such as additional plugins or does your theme have any built-in capabilities in this vain? We would really need to pin down the source of those URLs and then deal with whatever is generating them.
Barry
MemberHi Hamish,
If you expanded the memory limit and that is being used up then it might actually suggest something like an infinite loop is at work here.
Can you confirm if you have tried to replicate this with Events Calendar PRO (and The Events Calendar) still activated, but all other plugins disabled and your theme changed to a default, unmodified one such as Twenty Twelve?

MemberI’d imagine that is possible – but probably wouldn’t be “bulletproof” since it hinges on reliable information being returned from the user agent (or web browser, in plain English).
It is, however, beyond the scope of support that we can offer to guide you through this one – definitely feel free to come back if you hit on any more specific questions along the way, though, and we’ll happily prod you in the right direction if we can.

MemberSorry, that should have read “Adam” … I was obviously typing too quickly.
Barry
MemberHi Ada – thanks for the report – I shall ask the developers to address that 🙂
Barry
MemberUnfortunately the forum isn’t very tolerant of code, so it’s usually best to use a service like Pastebin, Gist or similar and share a link to it.
That snippet in your last post looks like it should do the job … can you confirm where you are using it?
July 9, 2013 at 12:04 pm in reply to: After update the Events Calendar version , upcoming event page not function #54078Barry
MemberHi!
So the idea would be to create a new category. You would then assign all events to that category and use the category page as your main events view.
For instance, if you called your new category All Events then the corresponding URL would be something like:
http://example.com/events/category/all-events/
Does that make more sense?
