MemberHi Tom,
Sorry for the inconvenience. We are aware of this and it should be fixed in one of our upcoming maintenance releases. In the meantime we have a workaround (posted in the Useful Code Snippets list over on the right) which you might be interested in:
Fix for Update Recurring Events Dialog
Does that help here?
Barry
MemberHi Stefhan, although that sounds similar to what Skatch has reported please create your own thread as the solution/troubleshooting process will not necessarily be the same in your case – plus you could then share your URL – thanks π
Barry
MemberNo problem, glad you’re all sorted π
August 29, 2013 at 6:41 am in reply to: Mini-calendar link to a reoccurring event goes to the wrong date #63581Barry
MemberDefinitely possible, but it would involve a more complicated customization than we can help you with here. As always though if you feel strongly about the need for something like tooltips you are more than welcome to post a feature request:
https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas
Since it sounds like everything is now operating as expected however I’ll go ahead and close this ticket – if you disagree/need support for any other aspects of the plugin then please do just create new threads as needed π

MemberExcellent!

MemberHi wpdan – we’ve got a fix for that specific issue in our list of Useful Code Snippets over in the right sidebar – please see: https://theeventscalendar.com/recurring-events-dialog-fix/
Since you’ve anyway created another thread for this issue I’ll go ahead and close this one – just to reiterate though, as in my first post, we are open to ideas such as feature requests and User Voice is a great place to add them: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas

MemberI don’t personally have any particular favourites, but the WordPress plugin directory is a good place to look for one – you could try a few and read up on the reviews to try and get a feel for which will work best for you.
August 28, 2013 at 4:52 pm in reply to: How to change the blue color from the full calander ? Thanks #63530Barry
MemberHi anusunu,
There are a few places where (different) shades of blue are used but you can override them all by adding a custom tribe-events.css stylesheet – our Themer’s Guide has instructions on this and is the best starting point π
August 28, 2013 at 4:47 pm in reply to: Distributing Additional Fields (splitting them into columns) #63528Barry
MemberAh, sorry my mistake.
Or maybe we could βstretchβ the column for the additional fields (other), so it will spread from left to right covering the entire box, right bellow the first 3 columns (date, venue and organizer).
A rule like this might help:
.tribe-events-event-meta .tribe-events-meta-group:last-child {
clear: both;
width: 100%;
}You could create a custom tribe-events.css stylesheet and add it there, for example (see our Themer’s Guide for details). Does that help?

MemberHi John,
I see you tried deactivating other plugins/switching to a default theme – did the problem persist even then? The only other reports we’ve had of this have indicated a conflict where JS from another product is running on our own plugin’s admin screens.
It would be great if you could confirm – thanks!
Barry
MemberHi anusunu,
I wasn’t in honesty aware that that was previously a feature – if it was then it would seem it has been removed. You could definitely post a feature request in relation to this, however:
https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas
For any other questions (changing the blue colour for instance) please post new threads as we try to keep to one issue per thread – one of the team will then be happy to help – but do note the URL you shared doesn’t seem to be accessible.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi fguijarrob – that should be doable with some CSS, but may vary from theme to theme. I did look at the URL you provided but could not in fact identify any event related pages or widgets so am unable to offer up a snippet here.
Remember also that our Themer’s Guide is well worth reading to learn the basics of customization: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/

MemberThanks for sending that across, definitely a strange issue – can you clarify what the other something else that doesn’t look right was? Could you also run through our standard troubleshooting steps:
* Deactivate all other plugins except for those by Modern Tribe
* Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve
* Test to see if the problem remains
* If that solves the problem, reactivate everything one-at-a-time
* Test at each stage to see if it returns
* If it does return, take note of whichever component seems to trigger itIf we can isolate the problem we can then look at ways to proceed π
Thanks!
Barry
MemberRegrettably not, but there are lots of freelancers and development shops experienced both with WordPress at large and probably specifically with our plugin, too – searching some of the online marketplaces for such developers may be a good way to go here.
Since we can’t offer too much more here I’ll close this thread – but I do hope you’re able to progress with the project.
Cheers,
Barry
