MemberNo problem, I’ll leave this open for a while in case you find the culprit and want to leave a note in here (could be useful for others) – but hopefully it is something you can easily swap out and replace if a fix doesn’t seem readily apparent 🙂

MemberHi!
I am also running the newest version of WordPress so my scripts should all be using the newest versions, correct? Is there any way to check that?
Great question: that’s actually not necessarily the case, it’s definitely possible to have the latest version of WordPress but older or even obsolete versions of plugins and themes running.
That said, it looks to me like you are running 3.8.1 (for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO) so you seem to be in good shape on that count (to check for yourself, please visit the plugins admin page which lists each plugin installed on your site along with the version number).
I don’t think I do, I switched back to a default theme and it was the same problem.
OK, but you can confirm that – at the same time as switching to a default theme – you had deactivated all other plugins, as described in our troubleshooting/conflict test steps? I’d just like to be sure that, even if there is no problem with the theme, there are no conflicts with other plugins, either.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi – I’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.
- Can you confirm if you were able to run through our standard troubleshooting steps (or do so now) and let me know if that helps/allows you to identify any conflicts?
- The URL you provided when you opened this thread does not seem to work, can you confirm – by private reply if you prefer – what the correct URL should be so I can see the problem first hand?
Thanks!

MemberHi errenee,
I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing difficulties.
YES, I’ve deactivated all other plugins to check for a plugin conflict.
YES, I’ve reverted to the 2011 default WordPress theme (with other plugins still deactivated) to check for a theme conflict. Thanks first of all for running through the above steps – can you confirm if that made any difference? The odd thing here is that it doesn’t look on first appearances to be a CSS conflict causing some of the event titles to be hidden, they aren’t being “printed” at all.
Do you have any customizations in place (template overrides or anything like that)?

November 6, 2014 at 7:16 am in reply to: Getting pagination to work on homepage with WP-Query events listing #864460Barry
MemberHi brightspark,
I want to jot down my understanding of the problem, first of all, to make it easier for others (or even my future self!) to quickly get a handle on this issue.
So, normally, if your front page is set to display your latest blog posts – and of course there are enough of them – WordPress supplies pagination facilities and the resulting URLs look something like this:
example.com/page/2/
If I am understanding correctly, the problem you are describing is that if the front page is instead set to display a static page then, even though there is nothing to actually page through, you can use similar URLs like the one above and the same page will still load – allowing your shortcode/customization to take advantage of the pagination information.
With PRO enabled the problem you seem to be hitting is that accessing the above URL (when your front page is set to show a static page) will result in a redirect to the front page itself, ie:
example.com
Is that a fair summary?

MemberExcellent, glad that worked.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread out – but of course if anything else crops up please don’t hesitate to start a new thread and let us know: one of the team will be only too happy to help!
Thanks again.

Member1. No because I dissable it so people can’t see that it don’t works so I made it unvisible. Until the problems is fixed.
OK, so can you confirm that you ran through our complete troubleshooting steps?
If that doesn’t help you to identify any conflicts would it be possible to describe in more detail what exactly is going wrong and even provide a URL where we can see this (could you set up a test site, possibly in a sub-directory or something like that? It’s normally pretty fast and easy to do so with via the control panel provided by most web hosts – then you don’t need to worry about the live site being impacted by our troubleshooting processes)?
Thanks!
