MemberHi Raul,
I’m afraid that is a difficult question to answer.
We don’t actually take on customization tasks like this and different designers/development shops of course charge different rates. A lot will depend on the full specification, how aggressive a timeline you are pursuing and so on – the best thing here would be to reach out to some experienced WordPress devs on some of the freelance marketplaces and see what they think 🙂
I hope that helps!

MemberThanks (and yes, you’re right about the forum bug – it’s a long standing problem that ought to be solved soon – unfortunately it isn’t easy for us to differentiate between actual human mistakes and the forum bug).
In any case, thanks for those details. When I look at your site and visit a single event page, it isn’t immediately clear to me what the problem is with the titles – could you provide a little more detail on that?

MemberThe existing city field seems like a natural fit to me (and if you customize it further by making it a dropdown of pre-chosen options that might fit your needs even better).
Adding Filter Bar could definitely open up some options, but I’d emphasize before you make that purchase that filtering by venue address fields (such as the city) is not something it supports “out of the box”.
Events Calendar PRO, on the other hand, does add geolocation facilities. So, if the venue is a valid address that Google can parse into a set of coordinates, location based searches do then become a possibility.

MemberHi Jacob,
I’m afraid that is not currently facilitated, though you are more than welcome to post a feature request/upvote any suitable existing requests:
This third party plugin does have a facility letting you set the front page of your blog to your main events view, so that could be worth exploring (though do note it isn’t supported here on the official forums).

MemberHi @yvrmark,
I’m sorry for any disruption caused following the recent updates.
There is a Screen Options pulldown at the top of that screen – you can use this to determine which columns you wish to show and hide.
We also removed a component called Advanced Post Manager, which previously shipped as a part of Events Calendar PRO and helped to manage this screen – however it is still available as a separate plugin you can install if you’d like (which may restore something closer to what you used to have in place).
Do either of those ideas help here?

MemberHi @dtforum,
I’m sorry the upgrade experience resulted in some difficulties.
The URL you provided when you opened this topic doesn’t seem to be valid so I can’t view the problem first-hand. Could you confirm where I should look with some example URLs?
Could you also share your system information (in a private reply)?
Thanks!

MemberHi mauitime,
I’m sorry you’ve hit up against difficulties after upgrading.
I’m not sure I’m aware of other topics matching quite what you’ve described here and would love to get a little more context.
Within your staging site, is this still a problem even if all other (non-Modern Tribe) plugins are deactivated and you use a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Fifteen?

Member…Actually, having posted that, I see you seem to have Divi and our own plugins running together successfully once more – are you all sorted here?

MemberHi Charles,
I’m sorry you’ve had such a bad update experience.
If you are comfortable doing so, either via an FTP application or the file manager in your hosting control panel (if there is one/if you have that kind of environment), could you try navigating to the theme directory and create a new folder in there called something like __temp – then, move the Divi directory in there.
This should forcibly deactivate Divi and – hopefully – you can then access the admin environment. Perhaps you could switch temporarily to a different theme (such as a default theme) as a stop gap measure until we can determine the problem with Divi?
It may also be worth reaching out to their team, if you haven’t already done so, to ask if they are aware of this issue and if they have any advice on resolving it.
Does that help in the short term? Definitely keep me posted as things progress.

Member…Just to add, even if you did not install a release candidate it may be worth uploading a fresh copy of The Events Calendar over the top as there was a slight problem with version numbers which we later corrected.
So, if you were one of the first to update to the latest copy of The Events Calendar, you could be impacted by the same problem here.
Barry
MemberThanks for those screenshots. The error message at the top of the event editor caught my eye – it seems to think you have an older version of The Events Calendar installed.
Your system information suggests you are indeed on the latest release – 3.10 – but it occurs to me it may show this even if you are actually using a release candidate.
Is that possible, here (ie, you downloaded and installed a release candidate version of The Events Calendar)? If so can you now download and install the actual 3.10 release?

MemberHi Robin,
Please do create a new topic of your own and one of the team will be only too happy to help.
It just keeps things clean and makes it easier for us to focus on each customer – as sometimes even though a problem may seem similar, the cause can be very different (and, in this case, I see signs that it is indeed a quite separate problem).
Thanks!

MemberThanks @brendakato!
Could you also link me to an example of an event where the tickets are not visible and details or screenshots of the ticket settings? The ticket start/end sale dates are particularly important here.
Though you cannot upload screenshots directly to this forum (at least, not yet!) if you could upload them to your own WordPress site or a service like Droplr/Dropbox and share a link to them here that would be great.
Thanks!
