ParticipantRecently updated TEC, TEC Pro, Community Events, Facebook Events, and Filter Bar to version 3.10. After completing all updates, our events page would no longer load in staging mode and giving a 502 Bad Gateway nginx error. Deactivating the Filter Bar is the only way that the page works with the current updates. I see that there are similar issues in other threads. Is there a fix to this or a new update to correct this?

MemberHi mauitime,
I’m sorry you’ve hit up against difficulties after upgrading.
I’m not sure I’m aware of other topics matching quite what you’ve described here and would love to get a little more context.
Within your staging site, is this still a problem even if all other (non-Modern Tribe) plugins are deactivated and you use a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Fifteen?

ParticipantBarry – Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have switched the current theme to an unmodified Twenty Fifteen theme with all plugins uninstalled except the TEC plugins and it will still throw a 502 Bad Gateway. Disabling the Filter Bar with the unmodified Twenty Fifteen theme allows the page to load correctly.

ParticipantI’ve also read in in this post that they needed a new license key. Could this be also the culprit? Would my license page inform me that there is an license issue?

MemberYour license key needs to be entered if you are to take advantage of automated updates – but its absence should not trigger any functional problems.
Could you (by private reply) copy your system information into this topic? If you can leave your staging site in its stripped down state for a little longer (ie, no other plugins but ours and only a default theme) and link me to it – again, by private reply if you prefer not to expose this publicly – that would also be awesome 🙂

MemberThank you 🙂
If possible, on on your staging site only, could you leave all other plugins deactivated (but keep The Events Calendar, Filter Bar etc activated) and switch to a default, unmodified theme then let me know so I can take a look?
I would also need the HTTP authentication details.
Thanks!
