MemberIt’s a bit hackish, but you could add this code to your theme’s functions.php file then use the shortcode inside pages/posts as follows:
[wooticketform eventid="123"]Note that that ID is the ID of the event for which you are selling tickets.

MemberHi Yvonne, I’m just going to move this across to our Community Events forum so that you can get appropriate assistance π
Barry
MemberPerhaps – have you sent the theme over? Apologies if I’ve missed it.
January 17, 2013 at 10:17 am in reply to: I can’t see the published events on my list nor the calendar #31038Barry
MemberYes I can see it now; how strange. I note that you tried our standard troubleshooting steps – did that remove the problem and if so were you able to identify a conflict with any of your other plugins/your theme?
If you also have Events Calendar PRO installed can you confirm that both it and The Events Calendar (the core plugin) are at the same version (2.0.10)?
Barry
MemberNo problem π
Barry
Member… Please also note I have limited availability tomorrow so there may be a delay before I can respond further. Thanks for your support and patience!

MemberHi Simone. I’m not familiar with Gantry, but the list of pages, the search widget etc are all part of a sidebar that I assume is being generated by your theme.
Please try changing the Default Events Template (see Events > Settings > Template) and playing with that setting; if you still can’t resolve this feel free to send a copy of your theme to us ([email protected], marking your email for my attention and including a link to this thread).

MemberHi Ben, thanks for the feedback π
Finally, the hook mentioned by Barry above is pretty much useless because if you add it into your theme or plugin, it doesnβt override the standard hook function
You don’t need to leave the action set up by Events Calendar PRO in place, you can remove it and use your own action instead, so it is very much possible to do an override.
January 16, 2013 at 10:27 am in reply to: Event ended a few hours ago, but it's still at the top of my event list? #30969Barry
MemberHi Len, I used a vague term because we can’t commit to a specific date: version 3.0 is just going into beta testing now, how long it stays in that phase depends on what our beta testers find π
If you need to get a solution in place right now though then there are a few different ways you might approach it.
The easiest is to check if an event has “expired” within a template override and simply not display it. A side effect of that approach is that it impacts on pagination if you have a large number of events in the upcoming view, so that’s something to bear in mind and discuss with your developer.
A better approach could be to change the query parameters – to make it more specific – in which case you/your developer would want a good understanding of WP queries in general and you’d probably want to make use of relevant filters – if your developer can take a peak at the TribeEventsQuery class he’ll get a good sense for what’s happening and what he can tweak.

MemberIf you want to stick with that theme and want us to take a look you could always send it across ([email protected], marking the email for my attention and adding a link back to this thread) – just bear in mind it might take an extra day or two before I could respond for something like that.
Barry
MemberYeah I see that; I don’t think it’s address specific because if I click out and view the map on Google’s own map site the problem doesn’t occur. I also see the same thing if I pan across to the coast of Newfoundland.
Right now I can’t think of any other causes so what I’m going to do is refer this to a member of the dev team and see if we can get some input from them.
Please bear with me – and if possible keep that test site online so they can also see this.
Thanks!

Memberhttp://nagoya-info.com/events/ right? I take it you mean this sort of thing:

If so, I suspect that is down to your theme rather than events calendar. Can you visit Events > Settings > Template and look at the Events Template setting?
What is this set to – if you change it to Default Events Template or otherwise play around a little does that resolve things?
Barry
MemberHi Jennifer, sorry for the delay in responding. Since the Eventbrite key is entered per-user, is it possible that either a different user (for whom no key has been specified) has been trying to run imports, or else the key has been dropped for some reason?
Are you able to check this (in the relevant user’s profile) and report back?
Thanks – and my apologies once again for the delay.
