KeymasterHi Martin,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
I’m sorry you are having this issue.
By default our plugins don’t create any specific role for creating events. From the default WordPress user roles the contributor can already create draft events and send them for approval. Author can already publish.
Does it also give you a white screen if you try to update an event as an administrator? Or you only have that issue with the “Events Manager” role?
Thanks,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterAgree. ๐
I’ll set this pending fix and will update it once that new feature is done. It might take a while and as said I cannot promise anything.

KeymasterI’m not sure if simply overriding with an older version for that section would work. How this can be solved is beyond my level of programming.
Unfortunately we are very limited in supporting and doing customizations of this kind. I can ask the team if someone could whip up a solution, but cannot promise anything.
What I can definitely do is submit a feature request for the option you outlined above and if the team sees it as worthwhile, then it might get implemented.

KeymasterHi, I checked on my test site. Yes, there is an option_name with cron that belongs to our plugins, more specifically Event Aggregator. If that is missing, that definitely could cause this issue.
How to get it back? I checked with the developers and removing the Event Aggregator license key (Events > Settings > License) then adding it again (which triggers a validation check), then saving after green validation should re-create that entry.
If you want to go the longer way, then you can try this process:
- Deactivate all calendar plugins
- Delete The Events Calendar plugin (only that one is enough)
- Unlink your Event Aggregator license code from your site in your account here
- Reinstall The Events Calendar from the .org repository and activate it
- Enter the Event Aggregator license key on your site
- Activate the other calendar plugins
- Check if the entry exists
This is basically a general installation process so the cron entry should get created.

KeymasterThanks Adam,
I ran another test on a different site, same results. All went well with a subscriber, with Chrome, incognito mode.
No clue what could be the case here, so I’m going to ask another set of eyes to take a look at this.
Meanwhile if you find something, please let us know.

KeymasterHello Vividimage,
Thanks for using our plugins and for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry about your issue with the month links. I checked your site and I see your issue.
Normally the “next month” links are not visible where there is no event in the coming month / future, but I see that you do have events in July, August. I take it that is a recurring event.
Could you test the following? Add a new non-recurring event in July and see if the URL appears. Then remove the event (or just set it to draft) and check again.
What does that do?
Thanks,
Andras

KeymasterSalut Yves,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
I’m sorry about your issue with the google maps API thing. Let’s see if we can solve this.
I checked you map view and in the console I saw an error which said:
“Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error
Your site URL to be authorized: https://testcoteauxpais.org/carte-des-lieux/”What that error means is: The current URL loading the Google Maps JavaScript API has not been added to the list of allowed referrers. Please check the referrer settings of your API key on the Google API Console.
Please check that and see if it helps. Let me know how far you get.
Cheers,

KeymasterHello RC,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
That sounds awesome! ๐
As a first, we always recommend to use the latest versions of our plugins as they are usually the most stable and bugs are being continuously squashed.
What you are looking for would be possible – at least partially – with our Event Tickets Plus plugin on top of the free The Events Calendar and Event Tickets. Note, you will also need an eCommerce plugin. Currently we support WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads.
Event Tickets Plus will allow you to set up tickets and collect extra attendee information – the details of the child. In your attendee list you will see both the purchaser information and the extra information collected. (screenshot) You can set up how much and what type of information you want. ET+ support Text filed, radio selector, checkboxes, and dropdown lists.
It is also possible to export the attendee list as a CSV file or send it via email.
With a bit of customization it could be achieved that the parent / payer information is not visible.
As for the discount for multiple children, as you said, you can set up additional tickets with reduced price. Or you might be able to achieve discount on multiple tickets through the eCommerce plugin and most probably an extension to that.
At the moment we don’t have built in payment options, so you would need to use WooCommerce. And you can use whatever payment gateway WooCommerce supports. That part is independent from our plugins.
I hope this answers your questions and if you should have any more, let them come. ๐ I’d be happy to answer them for you.
Cheers,

KeymasterI ran an initial test with php 7.1.6, a new WordPress 4.8 install and the freshest versions of our plugins.
I created a ticket event with one ticket, then another with one ticket.
I purchased one ticket from the first event. Went to the attendee page and clicked on “Move” to move the ticket. The dialog appeared and I could move the ticket without issues to the other event.
I see you have a number of other plugins on your site. Were these active for you? If yes, would it be possible for you to test having only our plugins and WooCommerce active so that there is no noise from the others?
Thanks!
Andras

KeymasterHi,
So actually it should be pretty easy to do. All you need to do is a template override for this file:
wp-content\plugins\the-events-calendar-community-events\src\views\community\modules\taxonomy.php
Does this help?
Schรถnes Wochenende dir auch!

KeymasterOur plugins don’t create any additional tables. We use the existing ones, _posts, _postmeta etc.
It might be the WP FullCalendar plugin that creates the extra tables.
