Events Calendar Pro 5.0.2

Howdy folks! We made a few tweaks to Events Calendar Pro in this latest update. Specifically, you can now use multiple categories within the [tribe_events]shortcode. 🤩

⚠️Heads up: if you are using The Events Calendar or Filter Bar, you’ll need to match versions. The Events Calendar 5.0.2, Events Calendar Pro 5.0.2, and Filter Bar 4.9.2 work together.

This is a minor release that should be smooth sailing when updating. That said, it’s always a good idea to backup your site and test changes in a development environment before installing this on your live site, as you would with any other WordPress update.

Let’s get to the changelogs:

  • Version – Events Calendar PRO 5.0.2 is only compatible with The Events Calendar 5.0.2 and higher
  • Fix – We noticed some PHP warning messages when we set the “Main Events Page” as the site homepage. We corrected the cause of them.
  • Fix – We enhanced the [tribe_events] so that it accepts multiple category values in the events_category parameter. You can now include multiple categories in the shortcode like this: [tribe_events category="category-1, category-2, category-3"].
