We are excited to bring you the latest update to our Event Tickets Plus app for iOS and Android! With these fixes, scanning QR codes on the app are even easier.

If you don’t already have the Event Tickets Plus app, you can find it at Google Play and the Apple App Store.


✨ New

New features included in this release:

  • New setup experience: Set up the app by reading a QR code within the plugin settings. The new setup will require users not only to include the API Key code but the site URL as well (requirement of using https://)
  • See and manage events on the app: When connecting the app to a site with The Events Calendar active, users will be able to see their events happening now and future events. Then, on an event basis, they can manage attendees (manually check them in/out) and see their information.
  • Information on QR read: We’re adding attendee information on check-in. We’re also adding improved error messages for app users to understand why a QR read could be failing.
  • Restrict check-in: When connecting the APP to a site with TEC active, you can now choose to restrict QR check-in on events that are “happening now”.
