ParticipantHi Brian,
Has there been any update on this? Are we able to upgrade the plugins using the WordPress admin at this point?
Thanks.

ParticipantSorry, we actually had to revert to an old version of the paid plugins since we ran into issues with the update. Once that’s fixed we’ll update the plugins so you can have a look.

ParticipantWe received this same error when trying to upgrade to version 4.1. It looks like what’s happening is that the plugin folder names are changing within wp-content/plugins, which is causing that error to appear and the plugins to deactivate. Here are the new folder names we’re seeing:
The Events Calendar PRO – theeventscalendar.compu_request_pluginevents-calendar-proversion4.1pu_get_download1pue_active_version4.0-UQBxdS
The Events Calendar: Community Events – theeventscalendar.compu_request_pluginevents-communityversion4.1pu_get_download1pue_active_version4.0-bmdo7VWe also had to revert our site back to a previous version. Please let us know when this is fixed.

ParticipantHi Brook,
We updated the plugin to 4.0.6 and unfortunately, even though the changelog said the bug was fixed, the date is still being reset when errors exist. Are you all able to see that if you test on your end?
And no need to test on the site we provided since we implemented our fix again after we saw it still wasn’t working for us.
Thanks.

ParticipantHey Geoff,
Based on the blog post at https://theeventscalendar.com/release-the-events-calendar-4-0-7-premium-add-ons/ it looks like you released a fix for this in your most recent update, but when I try to update it doesn’t show that 4.0.6 is available. I also checked the download screen on my account with the same result. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

ParticipantHi George,
I wanted to check in to see if there’s been any update on this issue, and whether you all can give us an ETA on when a developer might be able to look at it.
Thanks a ton.

ParticipantThanks again for being so upfront and for the detailed notes about how your versioning works. Let me know what you and the developer find or if you have any questions.

ParticipantHi George,
I really appreciate the honesty and the time you took to respond. It means a lot considering how many of these I’m sure you have to write on a regular basis. You all seem committed to tackling bugs more quickly moving forward, and we’re excited to see the new processes in action.
————————–
In regards to the duplicate organizer bug, it’s so odd because we are using a default theme and have all plugins turned off except for:– The Events Calendar (v4.0.5)
– The Events Calendar PRO (v4.0.5)
– The Events Calendar: Community Events (v4.0.4)The only thing that seems potentially strange is that the Community Events plugin is still on version 4.0.4. Is that the correct version?
Thanks again for the help.
