ParticipantHi Casey,
We’ve had some other things come up and this keeps getting pushed down on the priority list. If you guys need to close it I totally understand. Otherwise, I’ll let you guys know when I’ve had a chance to try it out.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi Chris,
Thanks for getting back to us and for providing some suggestions. We tried both and didn’t see any change. Any other suggestions?
We also are not using WP Multisite.
Thanks.

ParticipantWe seem to also be running into this issue with one of our clients. Events seem to be vanishing without a trace. They aren’t even listed in the events trash. Do you guys know if anyone else has been experiencing this and what the cause might be?
Also, is there any other information you can provide to help us debug this problem? We can’t really deactivate all the plugins and switch to the default theme for more than a few minutes, and since we don’t know when this will happen, that’s obviously not a solution.
Thanks.

ParticipantIt looks like I won’t be able to take a shot at this in the afternoon like I planned. I’ll be out of town on vacation next week, but will get back to this the following week.
Feel free to mark it complete and I can always open up a new thread if needed.
Thanks.

ParticipantHey Rob, thanks for looking into this and I did see your note. We have a couple of things we’re doing for this client, so I was going to try to tackle them all at once. I plan on taking a look this afternoon and will get back to you.
Thanks again.

ParticipantThanks Casey. It looks like the lines of code were removed from my forum post, but I’m sure you understand what I’m referencing.
Thanks.

ParticipantGot it Casey. Thanks a lot for the quick responses. I’ll talk with our client and we’ll move forward. Feel free to mark closed.

ParticipantGot it. Thanks a lot Casey. Is there an easy way to remove the HTML if we have hundreds of events that used the visual editor? I assume we could use some kind of PHP script, but I’d rather not take the risk with the database if possible.
Thanks a lot.

ParticipantYou were right on Casey. The theme we are using is loading jQuery UI directly using a script tag, causing it to be loaded twice. I posted on their forum since they seem to be loading the script incorrectly.
Thanks a lot for the help Casey.

ParticipantHaha. It looks like it happened again even with spaces in the HTML. There should be p tags just outside “This” and “test.”.
Thanks.
Jonathan Goldford
ParticipantSorry, but it looks like when I submitted the request the HTML was actually used in my post. When editing the description will look like:
“This is a test.”
Thanks.

ParticipantRob, thanks for opening it back up. I appreciate it.

ParticipantThanks for the help Barry. We needed to customize the title meta for all the event pages, not just the default view. We used the following code for the override: http://pastebin.com/0bSK8aL5
Thanks again for the help.
