    Hello Cliff,

thanks for your answer. Here comes the description of the Safari issue. I describe the sequence (in Safari) in the text and attach screenshots accordingly.

    1. Call “Kurse” from the Menu: https://finde-deinen-malkurs.de/kurse/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribeHideRecurrence=1

    2. Klick on the first event in the list: https://finde-deinen-malkurs.de/kurs/malkurs-i-erwachsene/2017-03-07/

    3. Push the “Back” arrow of the Safari Browser: https://finde-deinen-malkurs.de/kurse/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribeHideRecurrence=1 – Results in screenshot 3.

    4. Select in the filter field “Kategorie” the value “Druckgrafik” – Results in 0 events – which is not true because we have several events with this category.

    5. If I press the “Refresh button” of Safari it get’s even worse: https://finde-deinen-malkurs.de/kurse/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribeHideRecurrence=1&tribe_eventcategory%5B%5D=145&tribe_eventcategory%5B%5D=116&tribe__ecp_custom_11%5B%5D=Öl&tribe__ecp_custom_51%5B%5D=Portrait&tribe_organizers%5B%5D=2221&tribe__ecp_custom_2%5B%5D=Sonja+Schadwinkel&tribe_city%5B%5D=599%2C1251&tribe_venues%5B%5D=2231 (Screenshot 5). Suddenly the sidebar appears! In the filter “Kategorie” an additional value is suddenly selected “Bildende Kunst allgemein” – which was never selected by me.

You see – that’s a really poor behaviour. Would be great to get a solution soon.

    Best regards

    Uwe

    Hi Cliff,

    thanks for your reply.

Yes, please push this ticket in the development queue. Because the “Safari-Implementation” has even more issues. Just as an example: If you come from any filter and if you go in a single event and if you come back and delete your selected filter criteria, the result page is empty and – it results in long running processes. Again, pls try to set priority here.

Regarding the updates: All is running in the latest available version, WordPress and any plugin, including all the tribe ones.

Regarding “Zurück” Button. Yes, that’s true. I took your hint and changed it to the “All events”, but with the extension ?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribeHideRecurrence=1 – because that’s is our standard (only show the next event for recurring events).

But the our goal would be to have a “Back” or “Zurück” Button, that the user comes back to the original selection (filter etc) he had before he was viewing the single event. More or less the same as the “Back”-Function of the browser.

Thanks in advance for your new answer.

    And best regards

    Uwe

    Hi Geoff,

    thanks for your answer.
Meanwhile I found another workaround. In the translation file of the events-calender.pro, the german version, I translated the string “all” to “all” (which was “alle” before). And it also works fine.

Please notify me if the fix is done, because I have to change the translation again.

    Regards
    Uwe

    Hey Nico,

thanks for your reply. You can see an example of the issue here: https://finde-deinen-malkurs.de/blog/ In the sidebar you see the list widget working. Interesting is, that the value of the postal code is shown always as “1” where in reality Bremen or Hamburg have 5-digit different postal codes.

Regarding the your question of customization I did. There are several PHP scripts eg. meta.php where we show the postal code by customization. And it shows always the right results. So means in the database the right values for the postal code of the venues are available.

    Dear Nico,

    thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately I cannot simply change the theme to the standard one from WP because everything (and also the complete widget area) is controlled by our theme Avada. In my point of view this is an issue of the tribe plugin because there is a value as postal code shown (“1”). And this value comes from somewhere.
I use the postal code of an venue in other places (customized tribe scripts) and it works fine.

So, do you have any other idea what could be the reason for that?

    Uwe

    Dear Andras,

thanks for the hint. I tried both options but there is no effect when the switch is on the one or the other option.

As soon I set the lower range to 1€ it works fine.

Seems that we need some customization or filter here.

Greetings from Leipzig (this time ;-))

    Good Morning George,

that’s really sad. But anyway I will bring it to the user voice list.

But, is there at least the option to customize the respective php (organizer.php?) to update the code for listing the next events of this organizer in way that only the first instance of a recurring event is shown. Because there is always the option via “show all” in the meta description to show each single instance.

A short tip regarding the code necessary for that would be great.

    Regards from the sunny Hamburg,

    Uwe

    Good Morning Geoff,

in principal , yes. This is the option. The translation into German was bit misleading. But the switch of the options has no impact. Means, whatever I choose, the filter bar remains open (at least for registered users).

One additional questions, is is it additional possible to init the several filter options as such, that the int state is closed (means only the title of the filter option is visible ..). You might see it in the second screenshot I’ve attached.

    Best regards

    Dear Andras,

I’ve checked this and there is no such Avada template neither in the Avada theme directory nor in in the Avada-child theme directory. There is even no directory wootickets directory at all. I had woocommerce deactivated and for testing purposes I’ve activated it again. This makes the situation even more worse (see screenshot). Now, there are 4 x “+” and “-” – really strange.

    So what shall we do?

    Best regards, Uwe
