    Hey Emanuele,

Thanks for using our plugins! Sorry you are having this issue. We are aware of this and there is a bug ticket already submitted to get it corrected. Our developers will get on it soon and I’ll keep you posted!

For the time being, you can roll back to a previous release if it’s a real issue.

It’s also a good idea to have a staging or testing site set up if you can so you can test plugin updates before putting them up on your live site and affecting your users.

I’m setting this ticket to pending fix so you’ll get notified when the fix has been done.

    Cheers,

    Stephen

    Hey Erin,

Yes, you can fill out the form here to apply for a free nonprofit license for Events Calendar PRO and/or Event Tickets Plus.

If you need more help with this, let me know!

    Hey Brian,

We use JSON for Linking Data in relation to events.  You can see how our demo site turns up in Google Structured Data Testing Tool results. https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/#url=http%3A%2F%2Fwpshindig.com%2Fevents%2F

Hope this answers your question. If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to ask me!

    Cheers,

    Stephen

    Hey Phil,

That’s correct, the community package does not come with Events Calendar PRO, and a single license for Events Calendar PRO is $89.

We do have other bundles, but unfortunately we do not currently have a bundle that includes Community Events and Events Calendar PRO.

If you have any further follow-up questions, feel free to ask!

    Cheers,

    Stephen

    Hey Martino,

Just to be sure I’m clear: if you set up an event with all the info but a city, the marker is off. I think you mean the map marker and not the popup tooltip – although your linked thread made me wonder. I assume you are not also setting a postal code, as that should fix the broken marker.

I’ll let the devs know about your issue and your code – you can just submit it here.

If I can help with any follow-up, let me know!

    Cheers,

    Stephen

    Hey James,

A site visitor can subscribe to an archive view or import a single event (not subscribe)

If you’d like to swap webcal for http on your site, there is a snippet to do so here. Hopefully that will do what you wish.

If you have any follow-up questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

    Hey Erin,

Thanks for your interest in Event Tickets

Yes, with Event Tickets Plus you can add additional fields to the tickets.

It also allows you to hide/show attendees on the event page – they appear just below the map.

If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to ask me!

    Cheers,

    Stephen

    Hey David,

Thanks for using The Events Calendar!

I assume you are looking at the themer’s guide, I’m sorry if you found the guide confusing.

Below the section you are referring to, you’ll find a section 2. Create a new folder in your theme that tells you where to put all your custom files in your theme.

If you’re still having problems, or have any follow-up questions, I’m happy to help!

    Cheers,

    Stephen

    Hey Jordan,

Our Filter Bar add-on makes it easy for your site visitors to filter by Event Category (and many other ways).

You can also go to wp-admin > Events > Event Categories and then click “View” under each category to learn what each category’s link is. You can then direct your users to a specific category.

If you want to exclude one category, you’ll likely need to create a custom template. There is a guide here for that, and this thread should be particularly useful for your question. (note: you’ll want to add
    'operator' => 'NOT IN'

To that query to exclude terms.

If you have any follow-up questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

    Cheers,

    Stephen

    Hey Paul,

I’m sorry you’re having styling issues with the datepicker!

It appears you may have a style conflict from your theme or another plugin, can you try the steps outlined here to test for conflicts and let me know if that narrows it down? That would help me determine the cause of the issue.

    Cheers,

    Stephen

    Hey Diane!

Thanks for your interest in The Events Calendar!

Events Calendar PRO allows you to add custom fields to an event, there is a tutorial on the process in the knowledgebase here.

If you have any follow-up questions feel free to ask me!

    Cheers,

    Stephen
